It might have arrived! My mom texted me that "all my packages" have arrived, but I'm not sure if that means "all the things you ordered off of Amazon" or "everything you were expecting to receive." I'll check it out after work today!

« on: May 20, 2010, 12:45:37 AM »My achievement of beating Metal Gear Solid 3 on European Extreme mode should be pretty well known by now, but I also left my PS2 on for a solid week while I was attempting Azel and Angra over and over again in God Hand on Hard. Beating Azel without using drunken moves was probably the hardest thing I've ever done in a game.
Hell yeah dude, now beat challenges 41-50 so you can unlock 51. I can't even get his health down below 80%! Man, I love that game.
Sadly I mostly just play Bemani games and accomplishments in those don't really mean anything outside of the context of the game. I have cleared the Kaiden ranking course in all the IIDX games that have it, though. I don't know the exact number but I'd estimate that less than 50 people in America have hit that rank. Also one time I cleared Imperishable Night's Extra stage without dying, and with every spellcard sans Imperishable Shooting captured. That was sweet as hell.

If you have the time for it I would seriously suggest just reading the Umineko novels instead of watching the anime. I haven't seen it but the general consensus is that the anime is kind of garbage and does a really bad job at getting the story across.

I like to think Aizen actually has no plan whatsoever, and he's just rolling with whatever happens and acting like he predicted it all afterwards. Invaded my moon castle? Thanks for dividing your forces! Guess I'll lock you in and go take Karakura town a week early, HEH. You guys are killing all my hollow captains? How about I kill some too? What now, motherfuckers? Your power grows exponentially every time you get into a fight? Yeah, I set all that up. You're welcome.

As someone who frequently operates a cash register, I'm begging you: don't put something in your mouth before you hand it to me.
And don't lick your fingers and then touch something you're about to give me either. Man, I hate that!

I prefer Coke over Pepsi but I'd take almost any other kind of soda over a cola most days. Vault especially.

« on: February 23, 2010, 03:14:44 PM »There will be a charge, however, for those who call for and get medical attention from a fire department paramedic — who often arrive on scene before an ambulance.
Well hey guys listen we're not charging you for emergency services! Unless you want them to get there fast.

From family:
- Buncha DVDs: Fight Club, Shawn of the Dead, Pulp Fiction, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society
- Notes of a Dirty Old Man by Charles Bukowski, and Terry Goodkind's new book
- The Failblog book. Torn on this one; on one hand, the term 'fail' is terrible. On the other hand, funny pictures!
- The Flashbulb's Kirlian Selections album
- A sexy leatherbound journal from my uncle
- Hi-chews and Kasugai gummies
From Envy:
- Frikkin Yojimbo holy shit
- Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2
- Tokyo Zombie, which was absent from the picture as it was in my DVD drive at the time
- What I think is what they do for starter sets in M:tG now? A pack of commons and uncommons, and basic lands for each colour. Looks like 30 cards total for each pack, so you can probably pick any two colours and make a deck out of them. It's a pretty cool idea!

Package is assembled and ready to go, but I don't have time to get to the post office today before they close, so I'll send it out Monday.
