Pretty sure the only drm 2 and 3 have is whatever service you are running it from (steam/origin). I think 1 might have some other sort of drm attached to it, but Steam's store doesn't list any.

It does bear noting that the Impossible Astronaut shot him three times.  So the Silence was operating under the impression that the Eleventh Doctor really does only have two lives left.  So either we know something they don't, or they know something we don't.  (On the one hand, you'd think they'd know about the War Doctor given their obsession with Doctor as Warrior; on the other hand, there's a certain pleasing irony in a cult dedicated to wiping out the Doctor because he's a dangerous warlord not knowing the half of it.)

I'm pretty sure he got shot three times because you gotta kill a dude and what better way to do it than to shoot him a few times. Two to start the regeneration and then another in the middle so he's dead for good.

Also a lot of this stuff seems a lot like Moffat deciding he wants to make more marks on the Doctor Who canon rather than a very well thought out multi-season plan. I GOTTA BE THE ONE WHO HANDWAVES THIS OLD BIT OF CANON AND I'M GONNA DO SO BY INFLATING THE DOCTOR'S POWER LEVEL REGENERATIONS.

I enjoy using Foobar, and I'm not even using it to its full potential. I think at this point I'm using the same setup I stitched together back in 2007 or so.

Just a reminder that this is happening at 10pm EST on Wednesday this week, probably going to do 4 episodes a night.

Yeah basically, but we were also thinking of maybe doing the new season of JoJo if it starts this spring.

I've noticed that a few people are starting to play Dark Arisen due to it being on PS+, so I decided to start a new game and actually try and beat it. I still love this game, but I wish the stat allocation wasn't in the game to stress me out. In case you didn't know, when you level up you gain stats based on what vocation you are. Wizards get mostly magic stuff, warriors get strength, health, and base defense, and striders get a little bit of everything along with extra stamina. The advanced vocations are even more extreme with this, giving you less in their vestigial stats. I think the hybrid vocations give you more stats overall than you would usually get, but they're exclusive to the PC. In the end it probably doesn't matter, but I hate thinking about it. You don't need to min-max at all, but for the super endboss battle and for some of the bosses in the expansion content it helps.

Also for everyone who hasn't loaded up the original game before, this is what the title screen was like.

Yeah, i kind of figured there would be people who'd want to watch, I'm looking for the best day to do this. Since basically no one could make it on thursdays for the past like half-year, that's probably out. Wednesday sounds good.

Hey does anyone want to do this and if so what days? I'd like to keep it at the same time I was doing my other remedial shows (10pm est), but it might be negotiable.

On the one hand it sucks that they make less money through the store, but really a unified store that is visible will probably bring in enough extra sales that the difference won't matter. I heard that the total sales some people got through the notonsteam sale were kind of disappointing, and that was all widgets on a webpage.
