Online Hookers / Re: Worst Game Night Ever

This sounds like an excellent idea to me. An official TF2 Night would be great, especially since I don't have that one achievement. There's a Group Events functionality in Steam, and we are (or should be) all members of the Royal Order of Pyokites (may warrant a name change), so it wouldn't be hard to set that up. I think you might have to be an admin to create events, though, and the only admin is Punchy, so he might want to promote a few other people. I would suggest Doom, to start.

Dibs on Morgan.

An entire candy store (and very well-stocked, too) opened about four doors down from the theater a few months after the theater opened. Needless to say, the theater's concession stand has taken a hit.

This Wired story puts Obama at 55% (a whole point!), but even so he's double anybody else. We don't seem to have any icons corresponding to the old FUKYES.

Edwards failing to place above third in South Carolina probably more or less knocks him out of the race in terms of having any real chance of winning. I'm not sure if I'd like him to concede or not; if he did, where would his advocates go, depending on which (if any) other nominee he endorsed? What are the chances he'd endorse either remaining nominee?

I recently got Front Mission DS (and it's quite good). There's a quicksave feature like in the Final Fantasy Advance games, except that when you load a quicksave, it doesn't delete it. So how it actually works: I have three save slots I can use when I'm in a town, and one save slot that I can save to during a mission, but it takes maybe 30 seconds longer because I then have to load it to continue playing.

Somehow, this is an improvement.

Ozy & Millie really does have a good track record of being very funny and well-written. You just have to be able to induce a very delicate state of cognitive dissonance. A good starting point for this is pretending that "Ozy & Millie" is no more furry than "Pearls Before Swine", "Get Fuzzy", or any other newspaper comic featuring anthropomorphic animals.

It's probably best to exclude "Slylock Fox" from that pool.

Jeffery Rowland recently linked to Anders Loves Maria, and it's been pretty good.

Seconding Scary-Go-Round. It's a perpetual delight, surpassed in whimsy only by the eternal grand master of delight.

There aren't enough good single-player Source mods out yet. Everything seems to be oriented around new, exciting ways to be shot in the head before you can act by people who are better at video games than you.

I think everybody gave up on winning at single-player after Minerva. "Fuck! Not only is this great, it's got an original soundtrack! We can't compete with this... what can we do with multiplayer?"

"Sexy Beach 3" is always on the 1up PC Most Popular Games list, so it's not like there's no market for it.

Having personally experienced that show, hell yes. It was organized by people who knew what they were doing. They had real material, original pages, with useful and insightful commentary. They even had a clever weaboo trap, luring them away from the actual exhibit where they might try to talk to people.

Now we just need a domestic release of Bomba!
