I remember there was one series of books in Morrowind (I think they made it into Oblivion too? Not sure) where a guy sees a statue of a woman fighting some monster and falls in love with the woman depicted, sees the name "Palla" inscribed under the statue, and decides to find some magical mcguffin to bring her back to life. Except it turns out that Palla was actually the monster's name! Oh ho ho ho!

...The actual story was much more fleshed out and better written, mind.

I enjoy how Ulala is considered iconic enough for a seat on the couch.

It looks like she just cold shoved Sonic out of the way.

Also where is her right hand, and why is Link making that face?

I like how that implies that Gordon is fucking blind without his glasses and this is never a problem.

Also reminds me that I am now older than Gordon Freeman.

God damn it.

Pfft. I've long since reached the point where I'm no longer disturbed when I realize fictional characters are younger than I am.

Which, in a way, is much worse.

The fact those are little girls strapped to machines by way of amputation makes me think "Oh Japan." It should make me feel sad or something but no. Just "Oh Japan."

Or they're just machines built to resemble and mimic little girls.  Which is still very much Japan.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.
