When I was in the Navy, I immortalized Mountain Dew as "tasting like man-spooge".

It is a lasting legacy :suave:

B-but... how do you know what man-spooge tastes like?

Being a bit of an odd duck, I greatly enjoy Jones' Soda's approach to flavors: "Whatever works"

That said, I'm a god damned dew addict.

I've never liked Mountain Dew.  But I drink Coca-cola like a typical dew addict.  Well, not the 2 liter in a fucking sitting kind, but the every fucking day kind.

I used to loathe diet soda but now I :wuv: it.  It definitely helped me lose a lot of weight.  If you are trying to cut your butter ratio, making the switch is the easiest thing you can do once you learn to like diet.

I never had a taste for any soda besides straight (diet) coke or pepsi, but I do drink a lot of it.  My soda habits are boring.

I've compared cane sugar soda to diet soda on and off, and I think I figured out why we don't like diet soda naturally; Because the soda companies ruined us with high fructose corn syrup!  :MENDOZAAAAA:

Seriously, though, cane sugar soda almost tastes like diet soda to me after drinking as much corn syrup based soda as I do.

I love Dr Pepper the most, as far as soda goes, but I prefer tea to all drinks.

Maybe it's worth the three hour drive out to Ranger, TX so I can pick up Dublin Dr. Pepper, which is made with real sugar.  Far superior to regular Dr. Pepper.

You're allergic to aspartame. Try Diet Rite and I bet you will see much better results. My fiance has an aspartame allergy and actually gets physically ill whenever she drinks or eats anything with aspartame in it.

Mexican coke is a thing of wonder. I picked up a few bottles of the stuff in a tienda in Columbus, OH a few weeks ago. That place was serious; no saben espaņol para nada. It was great.

Interesting. I'll try this.

I don't think it does.  It's very hard to get it when it isn't flat, which is probably do to the fact that it has to come from Mexico, and the twist-off caps don't seal carbonation in very well.  Still, I suspect they might even make it sort of flat, if not entirely noncarbonated.  The few I've had that seemed carbonated I couldn't tell if it was my imagination or not.

Also, if you're like me and drink something like 3-6 American Cokes a day, any foreign drink is just plain going to taste foreign to you anyway.
