Tony Snow.

All I know about him, I learned from Ze Frank. Which is to say he was an apologist and spin doctor.

My uncle David drown to death yesterday. They found his body a little over an hour ago. I'm tired.

Sorry.  Sounds like it's been a hard couple of years for your family.  My best, and hope it gets better from here.

I'm guessing a Scientology/Thetians joke would be in very poor taste right now.

OH.  I was wondering why there was a piece on him on the news when I walked in.

I suppose I should do some sort of Shaft-parody in his honor, but I don't think I have it in me right now.

...trust me, I just tried.  Can't quite get it worthy enough.

Wonder Woman trailer.

I can't be the only one who sees the "suiting up" bit in the beginning and thinks of, well...

(Skip to 3:50 or so in; NSFW.)

(EDIT: You know, you can totally see Taarna's bush when she gets out of the water, but it's nowhere to be seen when she's sporting that G-string thing.  Does the movie perhaps skip over the ritualistic shaving prior to the ritualistic donning of the mystic warrior garb?)

Gee, I hate to bear bad tidings, but the key animator for the Taarna sequence, Gary Mooney, passed away the day you posted that, Thad.

...THEN IT WAS A LOVING TRIBUTE, DAMMIT

...I'd say "I need to watch Heavy Metal again", but I still haven't gotten around to watching 2001 again since Clarke died.
