This is a sketch I made specifically as WFE avatar material. I was in a rush to get the thing together and register (so as not to miss out on the torrent of activity we're seeing here), so I think the head came out too narrow, but it's not as if there's a convenient source of creepo Sharkey stalker materials I could have referenced anyway. I'm happy enough to say I've done worse with more effort.

Having worked with those in the past, they can be good, or they can be evil. I see yours cooperated as that green on the upper left played nice and let you keep a thin white border with the figure. I had the cheap stuff which would occasionally get a crack and sprinkle dust where you wanted none.

The only problem I had with this piece is the straight edge line in the area of green. For some reason someone took a straight edge to the drawing board. The only issue I have with these pastels is the power it does leave behind. I come out looking like a rainbow threw up on me.

The red/blue contrast is very nice on the lower right. The solid lines in the areas supporting the sitting figure do a great job of drawing the eye to various parts of the piece. Fair composition. Hope your professor sees it that way.

I didn't get much critiqing in the class. I wasn't an art student, so they didn't really critiqing me. But, he did enjoy my work. I got an "A" in the class. Woot!

I have other works, yet to be put up.

This was a 5 minute drawing.
