Yeah thats partially the idea. Originally they were on right which looked weird. so I figured it'd look better if they were sort of getting tugged down.

Initially, I thought she was playing a mandolin. The perspective gets lost somewhere there.

Then again, I had a really great daydream about her being a character from a cool squeenix game, so maybe I just wanted it to be a mandolin.

Yeah, she was actually holding the guitar like that. She wasn't playing it, just holding it and nodding off.

I made an effort to include her feet because I thought her shoes looked cool too.

So I hadn't drawn anything for nearly a year. I mean it was getting retarded. There was an albatross around my neck and without going into the details, I swore off all personal work until the fucker was gone. Well, it was probably gone in November, but it took me a while to come back all the same.

Anyway, the first thing I did was tawdry, uncreative, misproportioned, hack work, but the lines came easily enough.

This was third thing I drew, but the first thing painted. It's just called "Seemed Like A Good Idear At Th Time".

So whatever. I hope to do more. Got a couple I'm working on already. Just taking things one step at a time.

Every once in a while I think about posting something in this thread, and then I see what's already there and it feels like showing my stuff would be the equivalent of me going "lol i's drewn a nice horseys" and then upturning a bowl of cold Disney spaghetti-os on top of my head.
