Government 2.0
« on: December 11, 2008, 11:56:59 PM »

You all know http://change.gov and all their open door hinjinx that even lets me, a Canadian, bitch to the oncoming US administration about things that they could be doing better.

Other people are taking suit, including my own Provincial Government.

The purpose of this thread is to organize all the ones I come across into country, state/province, and by executive, legislative or political stripe.

Facebook groups and or supporters might be kosher, but only depending on how well its used.

United Kingdom

Parliamentary:  Office of the Prime Minister
Number 10 Downing Street - Taking online petitions on all matters
Number 10 Downing Street - Video Questions and Responses from the Prime Minister

United States of America

Executive:  Oncoming Administration, Obama-Biden (2009-2013)
change.gov -Taking stories and desires for government policy

Canada

British Columbia

Political Party:  BC Liberal Party
Open Platform - Taking desires for policy in certain major key areas of major importance with exception to the 2010 debacle

That's it for now.  I'll add whatever you can add if it relates to the parliamentry, executive, or political branch of any country or state.  No municipalities, townships or principalities, please.   :nyoro~n:

You know, if the Prime Minister thing doesn't work for Mr Brown, I think he'd make an awesome bedtime story reader.

He'd put anyone to sleep.

I think all governmental questions should be instantly piped to every citizen's cell phone to be voted on.

Then people under 30 would vote.

THIS CANNOT STAND.

Again on a tangent, if you find any state-level attempts at open internets-based government advice requests, please link.
