My friend Raven is improving her cookie making technique.

MY FRIEND RAVEN MAKES AMAZING COOKIES.

You have a friend named Raven, too? That's... odd. You're in Toronto?

St. Catharines.  Across the lake from Toronto.

If I'm reading this thread correctly, Thad posted on the boards from an iPhone while out to dinner to talk about how he was having a kebab with a beautiful girl while his girlfriend was out of town.

Felicity said there was no electricity; Emily, no chemistry.  Fran ran, Bruce turned out to be a man; Flo had to go, I couldn't go with the flow.  Carol Brown just took a bus out of town, but I'm hopin' that you'll stick around.

I went to a Bif Naked concert on saturday. I was close enough to her to read the words on her Medic-Alert bracelet. And get high fives!

Small venues are great.

I found my copy of The Misadventures of Tron Bonne today!  :perfect:

...in the case for Megaman X5?  :?:

.....covered in what appears to be.... candle wax? Fruit roll up?  :ohshi~:

Ok, cleaned that off to reveal... oh god.. oh god, the scratches....  :OoO:

But, notice the thread title. Popped her in, and... she plays!

Now if only I could find my long, lost copy of Klonoa...

Oh okay. I figure there's probably more than one "Raven" in Toronto, anyway, but it was worth a check.

I was reminded that TMOL exists!

Wii Punch-Out reminded me about that the other day.

I discovered that Gamestop doesn't take Playstation 2 Network Adaptors anymore!  (Shut up, I used it for Resident Evil Outbreak and it was awesome.)

3 or so hours later, it sells for $40 (cheaper than all the others listed) on Amazon.

 :perfect:

Halfway tempted to raid the Gamestop and relieve them of their remaining PS2 network adaptors to see if lightning strikes twice.

Do it one at a time until they notice you, then enlist friends or wait for shifts to change.

If you do it all or nothing, guess what happens when nothing comes up because you flooded the market?

So for the 10 or so months I've been living in Wyoming, I've met virtually no one of interest or integrity because Rock Springs is a town riddled with drug addicts.  Except for Walker's older sister Kelly and her husband Reef.  We went over to their place for some burger grilling action today.  Reef's cooking is A++ delicious.  But when it comes time for desert...

Reef: What kind of ice cream do you want?  French Silk?  Vanilla?  Mint?  Chocolate?

Alex: Vanilla's fine.

Reef: Toppings?  We've got fudge and marshmallows or syrup.

Alex: Nah, just plain is fine.

Kelly: WHAT!?  That's boring!  How about you, Walker? :ohshi~:

Walker: Vanilla is fine for me too.

Alex: Yeah, he doesn't need fudge on his since he's got me and all. :wuv:

Reef: I'd say you're not really dark fudge like this topping here.  More of a milk chocolate.

And everyone got a laugh out of it.  Though Kelly and Reef started moving about suspiciously in the kitchen, obscuring my bowl of ice cream.  And when it was presented to me, it was two scoops of ice cream in the shape of tits with marshmallow nipples.  It was all sorts of classy.

I'm going to miss them when I move back to Wisconsin. :sadpanda:

Went to my bosses birthday party. Usually a pretty big ordeal. Lots of people you don't know, the music being supplied by people playing Rock Band. And of course drinking. The boss has a tradition for his birthday that everyone takes a shot every time someone new shows up! (The shot tasted like a White Russian, but I could be wrong)

In any case, I went in late on purpose since I wanted to avoid heavy drinking. I was going to be meeting a lady friend at around 10:30. I take two shots by the time that rolls around and I have to go. A good friend from work, whose a bit of a recluse when it comes to women, told me to die in a fire. Later on that night, I received about 10 hateful, drunken text messages from him.  :nyoro~n:

S'why I don't get drunk. Drunk people do stupid things that usually aren't as amusing or clever in retrospect as they seem at the time.

Well, there's a line between losing one's inhibitions and mutating into a antagonistic furytexting motherfucker. Don't drink to get wrecked, just follow Wiseman's lead and drink enough to loosen up.
