Maybe they're on to something.  If you think of God as a giant cat then parts of the old testament start to make a lot more sense.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Heh. So I just remembered something funny from a couple of days ago.

I was driving over to my folks house, down this road that gradually turns into an expressway, when I saw something keen.

An opaque navy blue GMC van of late 1970's vintage, the short funny kind (as opposed to the creepy candy-in-the-van type), with the little black teardrop bubble windows farther back. This throwback was piloted by an nominally middle aged surfer-looking fellow. He was wearing a dun-coloured tank top, sported Top Gun shades and a lovely tan, and was coiffed with the grandest sort of hair metal 'do, in a lovely shade of natural orange-blonde. He lazily lounged behind the wheel, window down, cigarette lit.

As he accelerated past me into the express lanes, I could hear the strains of AC/DC's 'Problem Child' blaring away.

While the thought of shouting out "Duuuuuuude! Which way to the EIGHTIES?~" briefly flitted through my head, I was too enthralled by the magnificent vision of this unabashed refugee from the past to do more than watch with a silent salute to the living breathing Rock n' Roll Mystery Machine.

Maybe he really COULD see into the future and predicted 9-11.
People thought he was crazy and they shoved him in a psych hospital.

Now he spends his days worrying about the next attack and he warns all who listens. But they have closed minds and are too foolish... Too damn foolish.

WHEN WILL THEY LISTEN?!

On the way to work this morning, when stopped at a traffic light just off the turnpike, I spotted an elderly man - probably in his late 60s or early 70s. He was dressed in a flannel shirt, with jeans, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat. It was about 60 degrees outside, and raining.

The old man walked bow-legged from too many years working on a farm riding a horse. He was picking up cans off the side of the road. I don't know why he was picking up cans, but it filled me with profound sadness.

Awesome name time: There's a Indian realtor in Scarborough. His name?

Punch Sockalingham.

That's right, the guy's name basically reads "Punch Dickpunch". He's like some supercharged house-selling Indian Saxton Hale.

Are we talking Native American Indian or Indian from India? It being Scarborough, I'm guessing the latter, but you never know. Because now I'm picturing a Sikh, naked save for his dastar and five Ks stepping into an MMA ring.

You are correct: East Indian (I thought the name itself would clarify that, but I suppose you never know).

I just picture this:

YOUR HOUSE SOLD, OR THEIR WALNUTS WILL GRACE YOUR PLATE!

A lingham is a phallic object present in various elements of Hindu mythology (mostly as Shiva's hat).  :mahboi:
