Actually I thought the tutorial thing would take us somewhere safe too, and that just reverting randomly without knowing how the thing works would just deposit us inside a star or whatever.

I thought I was being clever too. :shrug:

Always found it a bit weird when online CYOA end so early. I usually expect the author's selfishness in terms of wanting to write the story to override a pre-planned narrative for a decent amount of time. Oh well.

I'm also famous for mercilessly killing level 1 characters within the first, second, or third encounter. Honestly, it's not till the campaign/story have progressed for a while and everyone (including me) is invested that I hesitate to end it.

man, this is like the second time I went on vacation and you guys done got yourself killed in Friday's cool game while I was away
