actually it was more like "I'd heard it had gotten better, confirm/deny" since you seem to be watching it, but I couldn't tell if you just caught one random episode or actually make a thing of it. I've heard more than one person say it's one of those things where season 2 is actually leaps and bounds above the first.

ffffffffffff why didn't I give up on Lost halfway through season 3 like everyone else? They could honestly shave three-forths off of every episode this season and be just as good.

They're now censoring the word Muhammad in the episode, ontop of actually basically turning him into a giant walking censor bar.

I've been watching Buffy for the first time, and hitting season four, I'm using a guide to alternate episodes between it and Angel season one so I hit all the crossovers and whatnot when I'm supposed to. Angel is pretty balls, because I don't like his character and haven't since he turned all evil in Buffy season two, Cordelia is best used as a foil for more interesting characters to bounce off of which this show doesn't have, and Doyle is basically the only character I like. It's also got the bad episodicness that Buffy season one had that made it take me this long to be able to ever get through the damn thing. The thing about Joss Whedon shows of course [spoiler]is that they fucking melt the only character you like into nothingness at the first chance they get. Fuck you with a rake.[/spoiler] People tell me season two of Angel improves, but god, every time I hit a run of Angel episodes to watch after Buffy it really hurts my momentum to keep going.

(oh uh, p.s. no spoilers, i've actually managed to keep relatively spoiler free of these series aside from the stuff nobody would shut up about i.e. OZ IS A WEREWOLF, WILLOW'S A GAY WITCH)

Niku, Angel finally hits its snag around season 4 and 5, when it really takes off. I don't even think I've watched much of season 2 or 3.

Um, my turn:

It looks like fox did a fine job of smashing yet another series with so much promise. I found recently a inexpensive DVD set of the Sarah Conner Chronicles (Terminator), and their casting, their acting is just fun. Also: Summer Glau.

I haven't finished past a couple episodes, but I hope whatever they have ties in so it may be cannon.

Angel honestly doesn't hit it's stride until season 5 in my opinion. It starts being watchable near the beginning of season 2, but season 5 is so superior to every other season of the show its crazy. It might be my favorite season of either show actually.

Also ignore Buge, seasons 6 and 7 of Buffy are great, they're just a little darker than the previous seasons.
