This talk is all bad, because I start to remember old shows like Quincy or Columbo that makes all the kids go "Huh?" when you invoke their name.

And yet they still use Magnum PI and The A-Team as cultural benchmarks on Family Guy.

I'm relatively young, and even I like me some Columbo. "Just let me ask one more thing real quick.. Tie up some loose ends, you understand."

Man, now I wanna watch the Rockford Files again...

EDIT: One thing about Magnum PI and the A-Team specifically: Both have seen time as internet memes.

A hobby of mine is to torment an acquaintance whenever he brings up the subject of Space Cases. I deny the production ever existed, whenever remotely (and conveniently) away from net access.

I've an innate need to bring up this bit of trivia in conversation, so I'll deftly scatter about printouts of the above image in hopes that they're never connected back to me, counting on said trivia to pop-up in conversation later, complete with photographic proof.

To which I'll claim that photoshop has been employed, and that his twisted view of reality has spiraled deeper into madness. Erasing the image of child to fulfill an imaginary gap. How crestfallen. How woebegone.

I'm not too sure if anyone's talked about or heard of Kenny Vs Spenny, but it's about time someone did.

This show is for anyone who has room mates.  The concept is that these two people who have been room mates for the longest time take on the silliest competitions all in the name of humiliating the loser.

The chemistry is what makes the show.  One of them is the perfect asshole, and the other one is a self-righteous numpty.

It's been going on for sometime, and a lot of it is on youtube for now.

Flight of the Conchords season premiere @ Funny or Die; will air on HBO Jan 18.
Everything is back to normal at the end of the episode.
Also, the Will Ferrell show advertised after the show looks pretty good.  If you like Will Ferrell.  And I do!

So, uh, apparently now Adult Swim is airing old reruns of The PJs and King of the Hill.

They knew the metahumor well would run dry one day, and made no attempts to drill elsewhere.

No video website thingy seems to have it available but 30 Rock, episode ten, at 13:33, bottom row, third column, that's totally Sharkey.

Breaking Bad is a damn fine show.  Tightly written, with characters that I've empathized with more than those in most shows of recent memory.  Watching it is almost draining, with how much it draws you into things.

Also it has the dad from Malcolm in the Middle.
Getting into the meth trade.
What the hell.

I am watching maybe the most awesome of Good Eats I've ever seen.  I am totally gay for the show anyway, and I do find it very silly, but this new episode is particularly silly.  AB is making meat pies and they are doing a parody of Sweeney Todd and it is particularly funny for me.  That AB, such a silly guy.

Good Eats is my second favorite show of all time.

It's just so fucking silly and it's a great cooking show.  He made mincemeat pie and shepards pie.  They kept getting meat deliveries from Sweeney Todd and AB kept inquiring what the meat was.  And Sweeney Todd chopped up all the vegetables for them, and he kept killing people in the background of AB and Ms. Lovett cooking.

...so tonight's 30 Rock was directed by Steve Buscemi.

...and did I misread the credits, or was Earl written by Mark Waid?

(I guess it could be a different Mark Waid.  I once noticed there's a David Tennant in the credits of Scrubs, but it's not THAT David Tennant.)
