Balance and Ruin: Inspired by Final Fantasy VI, An OverClocked ReMix Album (Trailer)

Enjoying it so far.  I don't usually like OCRemix; it tends too far toward the techno/MIDI for my tastes.  But this has some pretty solid orchestral arrangements going on.

My favorite so far is Shadow's theme, which goes full Morricone with whistling and harmonica.

Further thoughts.

Seriously, if you haven't listened to the Bohemian Rhapsody version of the Opera House sequence, then what the fuck are you waiting for, an invitation?

Got the ace combat game on 3DS, It has some pretty awesome music.

Ace Combat 3D: Cross Rumble OST - Fighter's Honor

The soundtrack was done by heaps of different people, so there's a lot of variation, rock and techno and orchestral stuff and even some rap type stuff, I really like how this music sounds like it should be in a fantasy game, but it fits in with ace combat so well.

This morning I came to the realization that the Hotline Miami soundtrack has been the only thing playing in my car for over two months.

Hotline Miami Soundtrack - Miami 2

"Horses Steppin" - Sun Araw (Hotline Miami OST)

"Crystals" - M.O.O.N (Hotline Miami OST)

How can an album inspired by the soundtrack for Drive have so much better driving music than it does?

I once went to the grocery store while half-asleep and with this soundtrack on my mp3 player; when it shuffled to Crystals I started experiencing mild disassociation. It's probably the closest I've ever been to being high.

Anyway I don't do that anymore. By which I mean the soundtrack's still on there but I make sure I'm well rested when I go.
