... your bathroom has a couch?  :8D:

Yea working in the nicest building on campus has its advantages.  There is a lounge of sorts where the sinks are before you get to a room with stalls.  And comfy leather chairs and a sweet nap couch and tables.  I often find students studying there between classes.

I need advice for cropping a picture to a small size such as 125x125 or so and not having it come out as blurry ass.

Gimme some image editing tips. I'm using GIMP.

Turn on anti-aliasing, maybe fiddle with the contrast/brightness. Is it an animated gif?

It is a straight up picture but it's usually a very nice big picture and I'm trying to crop a head/bust segment and shrink it.

Well, again, I would go with making things a little more high-contrast. Smaller pictures tend to get muddy without it. May I see?

Anyways you can see that while the attempts are not entirely terrible, they could stand to be more high-contrast!

The problem is that it'd probably be pretty easy to straight-crop a decent contrast head, but the book + hand gestures really make the images you know.

Alternatively maybe I will use this image and crop out the "Persona 3" but then I lose the book argh

Sigh.

How's this?

Or this? It'd be bigger, but Photobucket has an upper limit on image dimensions.

Those are both pretty sweet, thanks.

I did just come here for advice and all but then you did it? Hoo-ray.

Yeah, that, and maybe spray them with some Bactine between washings. The person who pierced your ears should have told you this.

I think Buge's ears have been pierced for a long time now, like several years?

Yes they have. That's what confuses me. Of course, it took about a year and a half for them to heal completely, so...
