Votes don't get tabulated until all night activities happen. But since votes also don't reset, it's entirely possible to go straight from one night into a lynching into the next night in a single update.

After the first night, it turns out that Kayma has been killed by werewolves. Kayma was the SEER. You're DOOOOOOMED.

The following day, yyler, Brentai, Guild, and Envy arrange for yyler to have a little accident. yyler was the BANER. You're EVEN MOOOOORE DOOOOOMED.
