Movie Box provides HD links, as the artifacting murders any sanity the commercial retained. The new G.I. Joe footage could be spliced in, and no one would be the wiser.

Shit gets WRECKED

Was confused as to why I even held a passing interest in this project, until the prospect of Micheal Bay unrestrained by any budgetary limits became crystal clear.

Note that the gigantic wheeled thing that makes Optimus look tiny is NOT Devastator, but only one of seven vehicles that make him.

:scanners: x :over9000:

The shoulders appear to be made of crane and/or barge sections.

Power shovel actually.

To give an idea of scale, here's one with badly-drawn-semi-truck added to it.

A translation for those who have trouble seeing things in BAY-O-VISION

- Rocks Robots fall, everybody dies.
- Robot explodes through house, turns into Audi.  Is chased by three slender bots that have single wheel lower bodies.
- Giant ass construction vehicle bot from previous teaser transforms and does Donkey Kong's Down+B move.
- Sam talks to his dad, dad reminds Sam that Joe's motto is WE ALL GO BACK OR NOBODY GOES BACK.
- Sam pulls apart a bug that appears to have a tiny satellite dish on its back.
- Sam gets pinned under mystery bot, Bumblebee transforms and blasts off screen shit.
- Scorponok, everyone's favorite kill crazed murder bug from the first movie, leaps out of the sand to say hi/kill another robot.  Robot appears to be holding something like a cane.
- Bartender, one Ravage on the Beach please.  On the rocks.
- PRIME GETS WRECKED.  Again.
- Giant kill bot apparently TELEPORTS into the scene.
- Girl screams, Construction bot wrecks up helicopters.
- Prime drives along overpass to Constructionbot, redo of the LEAP ON HIS FACE scene from first teaser.

All set to relaxing "Ambient Noise".

Shout Factory answers some questions about the upcoming DVD box set of the original Transformers cartoon.

Of note:

Quote
Hasbro provided us with the same masters Rhino used for their releases. HOWEVER... There have been changes made. I, personally, went to New York, where the original broadcast one-inch masters are housed, and found each of the problem areas, in regards to animation. Before the question is asked, I'll answer it now. The one-inch masters have not physically held up well over the years. In some cases, they're nearly unwatchable. Therefore, instead of simply transferring and using masters of the one-inches, we found every instance of faulty animation demonstrated on a YouTube video or mentioned in a rundown we could find online (and even found some of our own) and corrected them, replacing the faulty digibeta master material with the best-quality one-inch source material. Finally, we color corrected everything to match--as best we could--the shots before and after. Surprisingly, unless you know specifically what you're looking for, you won't even notice many of the instances of slightly softer picture. It looks REALLY good.

Quote
We chucked the Rhino audio. You will no longer hear additional sound effects or music, not previously heard in the broadcasts. We went back to the original source mono and created a nice stereo track to even out the audio. It sounds really nice.

What this means is that we will have the show having a LOT less errors than the last time it was on DVD, and the only sounds you'll hear are the originals.

Was reading Michael Bay's forum yesterday morning (as I'm known to do!), and caught his latest visit:

Quote from: Bayhem

Steven Spielberg sat next to me in a big 100 person theater at Sony today. There were 98 empty seats. The lights came up after we just watched my cut of Revenge of the Fallen. He turned to me and said "It's awesome".

 He's wearing off on you, Spielbergo.

Love the "Look ma (and other single females), I'm directing!" avatar.

...sooo everybody who bought the Rhino versions feels kicked in the nuts right now.

...wonder if they can get the rights to Thundercats and maybe give us a DVD that isn't fucking mono and has the full version of Exodus on it.

New exclusive footage.

New exclusive footage.
Bumblebee and Sam have a heart to heart, followed by mindless robot carnage.

Teaser reposted here.  Michael Bay took it down after 12 hours since he simply wanted to whet the appetites of the fans.

Of note, in that seisure induced speedy cut away string after the Bumblebee scene, we had -

- Demolisher, the excavator, continues to wreck choppers.
- Starscream spits(?) at Shia.
- The Audi, Sideways, slams the motorcyle bot, Chromia, before transforming and diving through a building.
- Jiggle jiggle jiggle jiggle
- Sam examines an Insecticon(?)
- Jetfire is old, embittered, has a cane, and also apparently robot hemorrhoids.  Also awesome.
- The Constructicon, Mixmaster, knocks over a US flag.
- Bumblebee fights a Constructicon... apparently Rampage, a bulldozer.
- Devastator
- Prime gets his shit wrecked by a kick to the face.
Megatron and Blackout are back from the dead.
-
The titular villain, "The Fallen", teleports onto the scene.
And then we enter seizure mode, which gives us flashes of
Starscream(?) and Megatron fighting, the comic relief twins, Wheelie attempting to crack a safe, Optimus dual wielding guns, and then Prime punching Megatron in the face.
