So. Exquisite Knorpse 2: The Worst Exquisite Knorpse Ever is nearing its conclusion. That means it's time to start making art assets for the final published version of the level.

We still need:

-an icon, 30x30 png (BongoBill provided one so far, which we'll use if we don't get anything better)
-an info screen, 600x240 png
-an introduction, a series of 600x240 pngs leading up to the first screen
-9 more cutscenes from LaserBeing, 600x240 pngs all
-credits

At least some of these things will probably be done by Zaratustra or myself, like the credits and info screens, but for the sake of completion and equal opportunity, I wanted to open all the possible avenues of contribution to the floor. If you've got a great idea for any of these items, shoot me a PM.

This time around, many of us have been a little more narration-heavy with our sections. If you would like to see the first screen of the game because you're thinking of contributing an intro, download this teaser level and import it into Knytt Stories. (On the Import Level screen, just drag that .knytt.bin file onto the window itself.) If you'd rather not see the first screen or learn anything of the game world as it's initially arranged, you might not want to download that.

If you have questions or ideas, please post 'em. I think that we can have the full level finished by December 1st, so let's get these last few things taken care of!

It would be unbelievably pathetic if we don't get anything better than my icon.

ALSO: Newbie: the exit on the screen in the demo is misaligned with the next screen over. Not that it matters, though.

As far as I'm concerned, Lee-Ham has already done his job by making that cutscene perfectly for me. Anything he does in addition only proves how amazing he is.

I have at least one, probably two EPICALLY* long cutscenes I want done, but I'd probably be too embarrassed to ask Lee-Ham to do those too. I'll MS-Bullshit them up myself if I have to, but if anybody has a burning urge to draw Juni (and based on my last call, they don't) drop me a line.

Need to ask him to do up the ending though, I think.

That seems pretty accurate, my curry-favoring ursine friend. They'd have to be vikings/barbarians too. That gets the Pagan and the Lee-Ham aspects down!

Something about using Graphics Gale makes me feel fabulous. Now, in addition to Bongo Bill's save point icon, we have two more to choose from.

Guild, I expect I'll be sending you and Zaratustra PMs tomorrow specifically writing up what I need help with in more detail. I want to see if I can execute a couple ideas of my own, first.

i'm assuming that this exquisite knorpse idea has already been discussed and nobody has bothered to transcribe the plot to the website

or there is no idea yet for an overall cohesive plot

assuming B, i'm going to make random images and post them here

Mock ups to find a vision and a direction for the art and overall feel of a game... sounds right to call them

these will require input from peanut galleries - no comment too colorful

as soon as i figure out how windows 7 lets you change a file type from png to jpeg
