ShockTarts are incredibly sour Spree-like candy, and the flavor is what I meant when I said "that hurt." Most of my dental problems aren't caused by candy anyway considering how little of it I eat these days.

I think these are the candy filler you will find inside most gift boxes from Hickory Farms. The stuff you eat when you're disappointed the beef stick and the cheese are all gone.

It was just some thing they coated the popsicles with to give it the spree flavor. It was some kind of irritant apparently.

That was probably the first time I had tried Starburst since I had a cap put in, basically, and I learned my lesson. I LATER learned that making you bite down on what is essentially a super-sticky piece of taffy like that and then open your mouth is EXACTLY how they take caps out. Bottom line: if your teeth aren't 100% bone, don't eat fucking taffy.
