Anyhow, ignoring the Sharkey, Thad, and Arc vs. Arct, Vance(?), and Someone exclusivity thing going on, Pyoko still seems to have a lot more posting being done. In spite of all sorts of bizarre antics going on. My first guess would be the restraint this forum shows in creating new threads, and on the same note a general unwillingness for the cleverer posters to make new un-retarded threads.

WFE had 50 new threads in February, to Pyoko's 40.

In unrelated news, Kazz and Thad are promoted to global moderators. I'm not entirely sure that it equates to admin status, but I can't quite be bothered to give a hemorrhaging fuck. Meanwhile, they'll likely cancel each other out like antiparticles, which is probably futile, but at least fun to watch.

Well, it's somewhat related to what Classic was saying in that now we can split threads.  Which, as Kazz has noted, I enjoy doing.

The only drawback is now I can't call anyone a moron without it being perceived as a threat.

Hi!

So, a few days ago, I get off an eight hour shift and discover the boards are broken. I cuss and scream at no one in particular and question Arcturus, Lady Duke and Kazz about the possibility of antics and what they know. If any of this was accusatory to anyone, I apologize.

Then Arcturus decides the boards are fixed and "there's no way to know who dun it!" I accept the offer to continue being an Admin alongside Romosome. I think it's odd that Niku is punished arbitrarily and I trust Kazz overall, but I'm also friends with Arcturus. Like a sap, I decide to wait things out after making a calming, neutral part post in my typical faux-Dr Doom tone.

Kazz and Niku are upset and I guess Kazz considers me a Benedict Allosaur. All I've really done for the past three days is drift in an out between big work shifts, including a six hour shift followed by four hours hanging out at my dads. So the notion that I am actively plotting to do anything seems a bit ridiculous as I cannot actively plot to play as much Hellgate London as I'd like to.

But today, Kazz is quite convinced that I am a rotten apple, or something. My poorly worded plea to him of my neutral intent fell on Branniganesque ears. So, I've done what all of my predecessors have.

De-Admined myself, got Romosome's assurance that he'll run the boards in as beige and trouble-free a manner as possible, and made this crappy explanation post.

So you know, I don't know what the hell happened on that original wipe and I'm way too tired to care so much over a dick-waving contest that will possibly make three of my friends hate me. Yes, I mean Kazz, Niku and Arcturus. Any problems you three have with each other are your own. I've never done anything rotten to any of you and I've never wanted to. At most, I wanted to one day steal PKO status for myself for a week or so, throw up a catchy new theme(I was thinking Earthbound's Dinosaurland, or an Advance Wars style APOCALYPTICA) and make bad jokes that get misinterpreted.

So to recap: not content with Terra pissing off a significant number of the regulars, Arcturus has now either removed or alienated the ENTIRE ADMIN TEAM.

I'm the biggest cynic around these parts, and I'M pretty surprised by how fast the whole thing's unraveled.

Then again, to suggest it's happened quickly sort of ignores the four years Terra has spent systematically alienating all the people who actually run his forums.

(It also bears noting, per the stat stuff I was pointing out before, Pyoko's postcount dropped by more than 40% from January to February.  That's a lot more than just me and Arc.  Although I suppose it COULD be a difference of my posts, Arc's, and replies to same.)
