I bit.  Let's take a look at what I just bought:

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth: Never played it.
Commander Keen: Only played the shareware version.
DOOM 3: Only played the demo.
DOOM 3 Resurrection of Evil: Only played the demo of the game it's an expansion of.
DOOM II: Only played bits and pieces of it.
Fallout 3: Pirated and beaten, but not with any DLC.
Final DOOM: Only played the shareware version, later pirated for the multiplayer but only played a bit of Episode 2.
Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders: Only played the shareware version.
HeXen II: Only played the shareware version.
HeXen: Beyond Heretic: Only played the shareware version.
HeXen: Deathkings of Dark Citadel: This game sounds like bullshit.
Master Levels for Doom II: Never played it.
QUAKE: Only squinted my way the shareware version.
QUAKE II: Only played the demo, later pirated for multiplayer.
QUAKE II Mission Pack: Ground Zero: Never played it.
QUAKE II Mission Pack: The Reckoning: Never played it.
Quake (not QUAKE) III Arena: Pirated for multiplayer, which is the only thing you can pirate it for anyway.
QUAKE (not Quake) III Team Arena: Never played it.
QUAKE Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon: Never squinted my way through it.
QUAKE Mission Pack 2: Dissolution of Eternity: Never squinted my way through it.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Only played the demo.
Rogue Warrior: Never played it.
Spear of Destiny: Never played it.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: Pirated but only got as far as dicking around some dwarf ruins.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: Holy shit I bought this game!  But not the DLC.
The Ultimate Doom: Oh wait this is DOOM 1, not Final DOOM.  Well excu-use me.
Wolfenstein 3D: Say it with me: Only Played the Shareware Version.

I think I just paid $70 to erase a history of cheapskate laziness rather than serial larceny, but whatever.  I now have enough new games that if I quit my job and did nothing but play them all day I'd probably not be done until next year.  If I had the time for it I'd do something ridiculous like Let's Play Every id Game Ever Except Those Two Quake Games, but I don't, so leave me alone.

I do plan to play them in chronological order starting from Commander Keen all the way up to You Don't Die in the Ending Now, but God knows when.  I think I might just do the entire backlog like that.

When you get around to the various Doom-engine games, if you install ZDoom, it will automatically detect that you have them, permitting you to play them other than in DOSBox if you want.

I was going to buy Quake 2 today, but then I read the forums FAQ and found out that the soundtrack is missing because it was redbook audio (where you could play it in a CD player but the first track was data? remember that?) and id didn't bother trying to port it, so I realized I'd have to go torrent an .iso of the damned thing anyways... so why bother buying it?

Once again, lazy porting defeats the purpose of selling the damned thing as a port. I wish Valve would acquire Good Old Games or something.

I didn't even know Quake HAD a soundtrack.  Apparently I'm as lazy a pirate as they are lazy developers.

I still have my original fucking Quake 2 disc and I can't get the damned music to play, so I don't know.

The music from the first level is burned into my memory forever from playing that game so much.

Quake 2 - Descent Into Cerberon

A soundtrack by Trent Reznor, in fact.

Err, that's Quake 1.  I thought we were talking about Quake 2.

Snagged Fallout 3 from this with all the nifty DLC.  Apparently there are issues getting it to run in Win7 x64.  There's a fix on various forums about adding lines to an ini file but that didn't fix it for me.  Always crashes on loading a game or starting a new one.  I wanted to play the Alaska mission dangit.

The Alaska mission was, without a question, the hands-down weakest of all the DLC. It's only really significant because it's an important set of assets for a lot of mods.

...Can't help you with your Win 7 64 issues, though. Sorry.

Fallout 3 seems to have crashing problems in all 64 bit operating systems, to varying degrees of severity.

May or may not help with your problems, it reduced crashing significantly on my 64bit W7, but i never had problems starting it up in the first place.

Ha ha, yeah.  My Fallout 3 playtimes were limited to about 45 minutes to an hour, because that's how long the game would last before it crashed.

Recettear is an action RPG in which the item selling has been made several factors more irritating.

Blood Bowl is only $10 on Steam this weekend. Not usually much for football games like ever but if anyone else gets this I'm willing to give a few online games a try.

LucasArts week all this week. Monday's deal was The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith hoo haa for $7.50. Still is technically up as of this post, but will probably be gone when everyone else wakes up.

The Star Wars pack is $50 (half off), but it's not really every star wars game to my knowledge, just a 'choice selection', which somehow includes Galaxies.

No idea what the rest of the week's Crazy George sales are.

KOTOR for $2.50.

At some point they have to move to games that people don't have already. Going to be :| if one of the deals is SWGalaxies.

I don't didn't.

Well, I did, but it was labeled "Mass Effect" in my games list for some reason.

Really I think we're approaching the point where I just buy Steam Deals so I can have a massive library of games I don't intend to play without going too broke.

I got KotOR for free at PAX last year for attending the Old Republic panel, but since there is no sane wide screen solution for the game, and I already played the shit out of it on Xbox back in the day, I likely won't ever even install it.
