Upcoming projects from Studio LaBeouf: NINEBALL, FLOYD FLLEWELLYN, BAVID DORING, MILSON, LIKE A VELOUR MITTEN CAST IN BRONZE, GOATS WORLD

    — James Urbaniak (@JamesUrbaniak) December 17, 2013

He is pretty much doing exactly this at this point; he's posted a storyboard for upcoming film "Daniel Boring".

Which has resulted in a C&D:

Brian, your client is seriously out of control. He must stop his improper and outlandish conduct directed at Mr. Clowes and his works, and your client must take all necessary and appropriate steps to redress his wrongs. We have been waiting since December 27 to hear how Mr. LaBeouf intends to make right, but all that has happened is further wrongful acts, such as described above, and more foolishness such as Mr. LaBeouf’s New Year’s Day sky-writing frolic that exposed Mr. Clowes to further ridicule. Leave Mr. Clowes alone, and address and fix these problems immediately.

So is there some sort of history between these two that brought this about, or has a life of mediocre acting finally taken it's toll on Labeouf's sanity and Clowes was just a convenient target to focus on?

He's not a bad actor by any means, he just does a lot of movies that don't really call for any acting.

Are we sure this isn't some elaborate I'm Still Here situation?

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Apparently Harrison Ford thinks he's dumb as a rock.
Which I guess doesn't preclude the ability to act.

I'm thinking he got caught plagiarizing and now he's trying to play it off like it's all a bizarre performance art piece.

Given that we're still just at the C&D stage and nobody's involved the courts, I suppose it's possible that Clowes is in on it -- I always treat Hollywood feuds with a healthy dose of skepticism -- but if I were a betting man, I'd bet that it's exactly what it looks like: LeBeouf is being a jackass and Clowes would like him to knock it off, please.
