I concede that what a lioness does to pull a cub back to the den feels nearly identical to a spine-severing murder bite to a human. But I'm not 100% sure that lion is actually interested in eating that baby. If she were, wouldn't she bare her teeth more as she prepared to bite instead of those jowly, careful opens?

Let's throw babies at the lion until we get a scientific answer.

So I saved a neighbor's dog from being eaten by a coyote this morning.

Actually, even though I managed to chase off the coyote, the dog still got messed up pretty badly. I took him and his owner to an emergency pet hospital; last I heard around 8:00 this morning, he was still in surgery, and the vets were amazed he managed to survive at all. I hope he's okay. ::(:

Starr actually treated a guy who died from a brown recluse bite (well, not the bite itself - he got an infection afterwards).

So prrrrrrrrrrrrrroabably not.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Hmm, you'd think Basement Cat would be the one to disrupt University for Peace.
