Bleeding Cool's got some docs related to a cartoon series called Star Wars: Reclamation, which appears to take place between episodes 6 and 7.

It also appears to reference the now-defunct Star Wars 1313 game. Seems okay-ish, I'm just kind of leery of droid invasions.

Wow, if true, that storyline would essentially be blowing away most, if not all, of the post-OT Expanded Universe. I mean, in my opinion, you could probably do that and lose very little other than Thrawn and Mara Jade, but telling one of the biggest nerd juggernauts in the world that you're basically going to toss 25 years of their work at world-building is a hell of a gauntlet to throw down.

... come to think of it, that kind of fight would probably be way more interesting than any new movies could possibly hope be.

Obviously a lot more than 15 years have passed since Episode 3, as far as the actors, but to be perfectly frank?  Have you seen Barack Obama 2012 versus 2008?  I'd believe that fifteen years of galactic-level politics have turned Han Solo into this, and Leia into this.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Not sure what you're arguing there? That this should be live-action rather than a cartoon?

The Free Comic Book Day issue is pretty much the perfect little Star Wars story: somebody for some reason decides it would be a great idea to fuck with Darth Vader, and then learns that it really isn't after all.  Also Boba Fett gets to shoot some dudes.

I think it's Wood's best Star Wars comic yet; all of my complaints about the pacing-for-the-trade present in the main series are gone here, it's over and done in pretty short order.

It's so easy, after the last 4 movies, to think of Vader as a gigantic pussy.  This comic doesn't just play him as a stone-cold badass, it actually uses his engineering talent cleverly too (
as he's crawling around the outside of the ship, his would-be assassin tries to jump into hyperspace -- but Vader's already destroyed the hyperdrive with his light sabre
).

Anyway.  It's free (though you've gotta sign up for an account); it's well worth reading.  It comes with Avatar (the Last Airbender) and Captain Midnight, too; haven't gotten around to reading those yet.

The only one of those that's any good is the Dead Space one, and even then that's a stretch.

Bioware is kind of (extremely) terrible nowadays - look how their last Star Wars games turned out, and Battlefield: Star Wars will be a DLC-Bullshit-Fest because EA.

That's what people are upset about.

I still want Disney to fork over all of the old Lucasarts games so I can buy them all on GoG. Disney definitely understands that there are ways to publish old games since their entire PS1 catalog is on PSN. Or at least it seems like all of them. Who wants Monsters Inc or A Bug's Life?

Man, that's, like, the #3 Disney-owned series I would like to see Greg Weisman in charge of.

Incredibly physically fit, vague, physically fit character descriptions unveiled for Episode VII... also physically fit.

If female, late teens, also obviously physically fit.
