Mutants of Melimnor
« on: September 18, 2011, 07:40:24 PM »

A friend and I made a game!

It's called Mutants of Melimnor, it's for Python 2.7 (plus some additional libraries as noted in the readme), and we made it in a week.

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Perhaps you'll like it, too!

(We didn't test it at all on a mac, so I have no clue what would happen, but probably it wouldn't run or at least wouldn't run right, but maybe it would? Let me know!)

Not by explict design, I don't think, but in the event that I implement any post-release updates, I'll see to it that a beard of bees is an included mutation.

A former roommate of mine did a lot of the programming for Virb in Python, and really had nothing but good things to say about it. To this day it's the only programming language I can read and understand without having to essentially learn an entirely new lexicon.

I realize it's probably more long-winded than most programmers are used to, but there's something to be said for a programming language that works like an actual language.
