-ACTUALLY KILL SOMEONE FOR THE DARKMOON COVENANT. Failing this, joining dragon covenant.

uhhh isn't darkmoon covenant the PVP one? because the thing is, the way the online quasi-matchmaking thing works, people who use certain other covenants get "further away" from people in darkmoon, or people who have a lot of indictments against them. in essence, it means you're less likely to get matched with ANYONE, invading or not, afaik.

To my understanding I can hunt down anyone who has sinned within the general invasion rules (Within 10%, in the same area). Be it breaking covenants or breaking into peoples' games. I was in one invasion last night, but I never found the guy. (It was in Anor londo. How the fuck am I supposed to find him)

I'm afraid to turn the game back on, because Nito is waiting for me.

He just wants to chill out with you and watch the game. Nothing to be afraid of.

Wow, that guy is like a textbook abused girlfriend. I wouldn't actually blink at going after Nito but the run to him from the bonfire is in the Tomb of Giants and has infant skeletons that give you Toxic and the Catacombs boss as trash.

That's textbook abused girlfriend? I mean, battered spouse is so far from my forte it's not funny, but are you sure you're picking the right syndrome?

I was getting an "it's my fault" vibe from the end, but maybe it's more like someone discovering that they're a masochist and didn't know it.

So I beat Nito. The secret was
A: Man up and just fucking do it
B: Run like hell along a side path I did not see before to minimize horrible undead babies
C: Bring some dupe to divide Lord Nito's atten-I mean bring a comrade in arms.

Did the dupe survive the encounter?

He did, actually. Despite eating two spikes in a row. I was good enough to spam flasks on him so that he'd keep Nito looking away while I beat the shit out of him. Tragically, the Dupe I used on The Four Kings just now was... less lucky.

I beat the game, but I feel more as if the game beat me. There is a great deal of built up symbolism in the rather brief ending I received, and it made perfect sense. I immediately put my main in position for NG+ and started a new character with a very specific purpose.

I'm not sure when I'll ever stop playing this game.

Once I beat the game I may start up a new character rather than do NG+. Pyromancer with Master key to get everything I want and do it faster.  After talking with Bal, however, I am not as close to the end of the game as I thought I was. Good to know it can eventually end however. I was worried for a while there.

I fought at least seven proper bosses last night, plus a hydra that makes it's home at the roots of the world.

EDIT: Eight bosses, I forgot about the extra one in Anor Londo

yesterday i started playing dark souls

i got the gargoyle tail axe and the boar hat and i was looking like a swank priest of an evil pig god

then i met some shady sucker in a cage and decided to head him off at the pass, being-a-cock-wise

now i have a relentless murderer with an unblockable weapon chasing me constantly through undead burg and i don't quite know what ought to be done about it
