Really? He just hung out in his cell after he managed to kill me in my first time through the game.

I like how anyone who played Demon Souls attacks that guy. Because they know exactly who he is and what he does.

Started my second character without beating it with my main character. Too much inefficient, too much wrong with my main. I feel like a fucking boss wrecking the game with all my knowledge now. Pyromancer with master key go go.

No. You don't want to play it for xbawcks. Trust me. Frame rate drops and a much smaller playerbase than the PS3 version. Plus needing Xbox live gold to get the full experience.

"why can't I kill this stone guy near the blacksmith"

Praise the sun.

the average note isn't helpful but on the whole I think they're pretty useful. They've warned me about a fair amount of snipers/secret passageways etc.

Speaking of which I was phantoming for some dude in Anor Londo the other day. We were waiting for the last dude to summon in when all of a sudden a black phantom just walks in, 2 shots me with combustion, 2 shots the host, and then 2 shots the dude who finally spawned in. It sucked but on the other hand that was sick as hell.

Well, the Pyromancer hand scales with int to a rank of "S" at certain levels (Up to +15). And then it ascends to the strong pyromancer's hand which starts at S and can get to +5. With enough souls and work, you can make your pyro spells ridiculously strong.

Ps. I grabbed the guide to learn every secret of this game and it is extremely useful. Also a pretty looking book.

Default Pyromancer gear has enough poison resist that toxic darts aren't a one hit application. Th-there's something in my eye.

Actually only the physical attack gains int scaling.  It has no effect on the pyromancies.

I don't even know what that does. Miracle fags with their spells-that-aren't-fire-or-crazy (I have one that makes me sweat so much I'm resistant to fire. One does not have to smell good when you are a crazy swamp witch).

It increases the amount of player hints shown.  That's it.  Might be useful in the crystal cave, I guess?
