That pain of knowing the game is installed and running just fine on Ultra but you have work and school to do.

"Everything is totally broken" is not the same as "balanced".

You don't know what "broken" means, do you?

Marvel vs Capcom 2, most MoBAs, etc.

Can we just say "So broken it's fixed" and move on?

Most MoBAs just have power-creep, which is a completely different concept that takes a pretty long time to evolve into everything is totally broken, but MvC2 is a good example of everything being totally broken, but which tends to support TA's point more than refuting it.

Did they add the big dramatic Dovahkiin chorus theme to that Horse Rocket video, or does it actually play ingame when you fight a dragon?

Because if it's the latter I think you just sold me. Other fantasy games are short on choirs singing your praises mid-battle.

this game actually has different awesome music for different awesome things. Each time you learn a new dragon word, awesome music. Each time you fight a boss, awesome music. Each time you fight a dragon, awesome music.

I am going to pretend that the chorus theme plays whenever you begin to fly around on a horse.

(Jeremy Soule's shtick is dynamic soundtracks, so yeah you probably get badass dragonkilling music.)

With this tweak, you can zoom the map all the way in.

unfortunately it makes the map really awkward to use for anything else, and look really shitty full zoomed out.

taking away so much freedom is WHY skyrim is good, i think. it's actually a game now.
that

oblivion obviously didn't want as much game-breaking freedom as morrowind but tried to hold on to some and you end up with the super OP chameleon enchants. morrowind had so much freedom that everything was equally broken and balanced, and skyrim isn't nearly as free, but still has a ton of balance, so everyone that plays it will have at least slightly different builds and play styles and not feel gimped or like a god.

It's been an ongoing process.  Daggerfall was literally the size of Great Britain.  I'm not a big TES fan but I give Bethesda a lot of credit for doing something so ambitious, immediately realizing it doesn't really work, and then using subsequent games to try to find a way to make it.
