So here's how this is gonna work. In order to get through the early parts of this poll quickly, I'm going to be running, like I said, 4 at a time, and vote for 2. However, I'll also be running two threads at a time, A and B.

That way, we'll be able to get into the Ro32 in only 7 days (or less, if huge leads develop)

One thing I ask: If you do vote, please vote for TWO, not just one. If you really can't decide between the other three or simply don't care, roll a die.

Anyway, our first match for Thread B (determined by die roll) is:

23. Dragon Warrior 4
2. Zelda 2: Adventure of Link
11. Bionic Commando
25. Gradius

Again, strong early showing.

Dragon Warrior 4 because it's a really solid RPG and Bionic Commando because it's a neat action game with a goofy script.

I've never played Zelda 2 and I suck at Gradius.

Not surprisingly, Mario moves on. The real match being between Bubble Bobble and DW3. It seems friendship and dinosaurs beats Welcome to Assaram.

Nah. I considered it, but like a lot of sequels, the original was generally regarded as better. I think the only exception that's on this poll is Adventure Island 2.

Regular Contra is in this poll somewhere, I think, and I remember the NES port of Super C being not that great, whereas Wizards and Warriors has both Wizards and Warriors.

Super C and Wizard and Warriors move on, with Faxanadu just one vote behind. And yes, Super C is Contra 2. Not as strong as the original, in my opinion, but nevertheless a solid entry.

All strong contenders for the final 16, I'd say. Maybe not Jackal. Dunno how much people like it here.

I am voting against Dr Mario because seriously I couldn't play my NES for like two months every time I'd come home from school my mother would be on like level fucking 87 and oueqwbge0oigb
