<Newbie> Anybody done a random number thing yet for this round?
<Newbie> I suppose it doesn't make as much sense, since we have potential seers.
<Newbie> Who actually get night 0 scries.
<Kazz> the "no night 0" thing wasn't part of Paper Wolf's design, really
<Kazz> LD just decided to skip it so that the game would start right away
<Newbie> Ah.
<Kazz> Also, because Mario's power counts as a kill
<Newbie> Right.  Well!  What's the command for a random 13-sided die roll?
<Kazz> > break geometry
<Newbie> I should have known.
<Newbie> The first sentence you said since I came in has 66 characters in it, counting spaces.
<Kazz> that's nice.
<Newbie> 66 divided by 13 is 5, with a remainder of 1.
<Newbie> 5 + 1 = 6
<Newbie> The sixth player, not counting myself, is McDohl.
<Newbie> If we don't get a better lead once the actual game begins, I guess he'll get my vote.

I think I miscounted, actually, but it's not like it matters; it's as random as anything else is, at this point.  If there's a bandwagon on McDohl for some reason and you guys need one more vote to lynch before I get back, consider this the last vote.

It isn't even Day 1, and already he's coming up with shitty excuses to vote for random people!

I should probably use this time to go actually read the rules and figure out who exactly counts as a wolf in this game.

Well, I guess if he wasn't waiting on a scry response, we can safely assume Newbie's not a scrier. Right?

I have already sent those scriers who have sent me PMs their results.

Under the assumption that since the game hadn't started yet, nobody would be talking.

Or voting.

Or doing anything.

Since the game has not started yet.

Oh, and also. Since now you guys can figure out info based on who hasn't been active yet because of how the night 0 scries work, AND

because Brentai figured out a way to crack the game open and win for innocents in one round, I'm going to restart and reroll.

This time, don't talk until the game has actually begun.

(thanks to Brentai for being smart and figuring out how to win the game)

You guys can all argue about the restart now but I'm doing it because I want a clean wolf game and not a clusterfuck

RULE CHANGE:

The wolves no longer need to kill River to win the game! :D

I assume, because it was based on absolutely nothing, that Newbie's vote for McDohl will stand.

In case you were wondering, the OMEGA STRATEGY goes something like this:

DAY 1: Have Inara out herself publically.  Have Zoe flip out on Inara.  Lynch a known, non-vital inno (like me, I was Kaylee).  Have Book out himself.
DAY 2: Mal shoots Book in the face.  The wolves hopefully don't get extremely lucky and hit River Tam.

If all goes according to plan, there are now 5 wolves and 5 innocents.  River Tam flips out and kills the wolves.

Game over!

(Obviously in the next game this sort of shenanigans would go exactly the opposite way.)

We can't be sure of that. More to the point, it leaked information potentially revealing the identities of night-role-having people, which taints the game.

NOBODY CAN TALK ANYMORE UNTIL I SAY THE GAME HAS STARTED.

Sorry, partially my fault for not stating that absolutely clearly.

Roles have been sent. Awaiting night 0 scries.

I will be starting this game later tonight, so as to make sure everyone has had a chance to be active.
