Sounds fair. The only difference is that you could save someone by throwing a weapon before they combat, if both are on a precariously low hit points.

I'm not throwing anything either.

Eight o'clock, combat phase
Anyone who elected to combat during the Movement phase now rolls combat.

The attacker compares his Combat Skill (CS) to the defender, rolls 1d10, and compares it to the combat table on page 1 of this thread.

If either side wants to use an item (e.g. Alether) or Magic Item (e.g. Magic Sword), they should declare it now. If you're using e.g. the Magic Shield, you should declare it at the start of the combat round before the attacker makes his roll.

Whoever takes the most damage is the loser, and can choose to Evade or Continue.

If he Continues, neither player can move on the Movement Phase or throw items. The next combat phase, the defender is now the attacker, and it alternates as such each round.

If he Evades, he moves before everyone else on the next Movement turn and adds +2 to his Movement, but must move away from his attacker.

You get +1 to combat skill for standing on a table or chair.

If you kill someone, their body stays on the floor as an obstacle, and you immediately get all their items and gold (you can ask for it in PM or whatever if you want to keep the items secret).

The Helghast's disguise fights normally until "killed", wherepon it switches to Helghast stats.

Yancy is asleep for two rounds, so he can't throw or combat anyway. As he's no longer combat, the magician (one might reasonably assume, although it's a rare case not covered in the rules) is free to move.

Can the Druid attack me/I attack the Druid this turn even though neither of us stated we were going to fight the other?  The rules imply that choosing to fight someone simply restricts them from moving, but I moved after the Druid did, so I didn't need to declare anything to keep him from moving cause he couldn't move anyway.

Also, Lone Wolf whips out his Magic Sword.  His effective combat skill is now 22.

I always figured you had to declare all combats in the movement phase, but looking at the rules, it doesn't say you have to, just that you can. (The advantage of having to declare it in the movement round would be that you begin the combat round already knowing exactly how many combats need resolved.)

I guess you can combat anyone adjacent, then. It goes in initiative, order, though, so if Druid wants to combat he can be the attacker this round. (With the combat system, though, both attacker and defender take damage at once, so it's not very significant who is the attacker and the defender.)

Druid shan't attack, but will ready his magic mace and golden shield (effective combat skill 14 when attacking, 16 when defending)

(or if one of those had to belong to the knight, will carry on with just the mace)

"Don't just s-stand there!  Kill him, Wes!"  Harold shoved on Lone Wolf's back, causing him to stumble, spear and sword forward, onto the approaching druid.  The Druid raised his mace in surprise, and Lone Wolf instinctively parried it and ran his spear through the Druid's abdomen.

"Shit.  I... shit.  Harold, stay out of it, would you?"

22 vs. 14 (i assume)
Ratio +8

1d10
6

Lone Wolf takes 1 damage.  (33/34 endurance)
Druid takes 12 damage.  (8/20 endurance)

(If the Druid has 16 cs, then it's 1 and 11 instead.)

Meanwhile, Harold tries to keep from retching.

One item per character. Druid has only the mace.

Druid chooses now whether to flee or continue combat.

No more characters are adjacent except Druid/Ranger and both said they aren't starting a combat, so...

Eight o'clock, gambling phase

Anyone adjacent to the big gambling table can gamble. (That's only Chansey this round).

Pick a number from 1 to 10. Make a roll of 1d10. In the description field of the dice roll (this is important) put the number you picked, and your stake (min 2gp, max 10gp).

If you get the number, you get 4x stake. If you get the adjacent number, you get 2x stake. Otherwise, you lose stake.

Chansey used roll!

(I'm an idiot and left out the amount, but it was for 10g anyway)

rolling for 6
1d10
9

It's not very effective...

(Druid has +1 CS from standing on a chair, but that doesn't change the result.)

Quarter past eight, movement phase

Druid moves first at +2 movement, then the Landlord's NPCs, then initiative in reverse order from Landlord to Adventuress. The map for reference:

David flees for his life from the mighty Lone Wolf, shouting out "You haven't heard the last of me, Harold!".
