You will not be so cheerful when I wring your head from its narrow perch!
Blaggard! Villain!

Anyone want a boost to their "Approaching the Gates of the Garden" quality?

I don't have that quality, yet!

Also, did The Affectionate Devil get a handsomeness upgrade?

I dunno if it'll work if you don't have the quality already? So...

Well, it's not like I was using it, right?

I hope you got a good price for it.
There may be a chance in the future to get it back, slightly used. It will, no doubt, cost more than you were paid.
I did! And I know the guy who comes around occasionally who trades for Certified Scraps sells slightly used ones.

Okay, so it's not the certified scraps guys, it's the dude that comes around when your 'Someone is coming...' gets to 5(I think), and he actually just gives you a bunch of infernal contracts and bottled souls. But still, it's not so bad! I certainly don't seem to be suffering any ill effects...yet.

I accidentally became a scholar of the correspondence in a dream and it interrupted my expedition in the forgotten quarter! Fuck!

Have you started an Ambition yet? If you do the Heart's Desire one, it eventually opens up the route to the Forgotten Quarter.

Keep plenty of laudanum handy, though; the process of unlocking the route will probably result in pretty high Nightmares.

I opened that up a long time ago.
I think it sent me mad? Or maybe I went through one of the fun house mirrors...
Whatever. It was unpleasant.

Old hat man.
You know what's not old hat?
Ratting up your good friend Classic.
Why the fuck did you do that?
Are you trying to engender some animal-mosity here?

Classic always makes good on his promises, and always with the promise of unwanted verbal abuse. EAT THAT BOX VERMINOUS BUCK-TOOTHED DICKS!

I'm...still not sure what it does. Either way, it's expensive, so I have no interest in pursuing this conflict.

I'd actually been buying expensive favors and I was short of rostygold when the opportunity card first came up!

Don't think for a moment that your generosity has gone unnoticed nor that it will go unanswered.
