Had the same problem with this one as I did with last week's; lots of arguing, not very much funny.

Team Venture flashbacks and #24 certainly help, though.

I think this one is probably my favorite episode.
"That rare blend of expendable and invulnerable" indeed.
Y'know, it was really unclear.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

That uncertainty is what we call a cliffhanger.

That episode is why Venture Brothers is so great. Those guys could write a top notch serious action/adventure show, and they leverage that to make up the backbone of a top notch comedy. I wonder what they'll do after Venture Brothers.

The animators really dropped the ball on Jonas' face when he was looking up while talking to Half-Jackal.  Look at his nose, for Christ's sake.

Well, yeah.  Look at this week's shirt, too.  The old Rusty Venture cartoon seems to have had pretty bad art design.

Yes, Dooly, that is really sad how the art they used for Jonas looks an awful lot like he's been in a fight and gotten his face bashed in.  How could they be so clumsy?

Also, just a few frames after that screenshot, he looks down and his nose magically appears.  I'll readily accept that the mistakes are there on purpose to resemble an old Hanna-Barbara cartoon, though.

Watch the video commentary for the episode. They admit that the poor animation and mistakes in the Rusty Venture cartoon scenes were intentional - actually, they had MORE mistakes, but the overseas animators removed some of them because they thought they were unintentional.
