I realize it's a Joker ad, but it seems like the tagline should have come with at least a shot of Dent.

Whhhaaaa?!? It was supposed to come with a different piece of ridiculous cardboard armor each time. Best to call and ask for a particular box.

Did you get anything to access the vault? That would let you enter the instant win game. The real giveaway game doesn't begin until the 7th though.

I wasn't at my place when we got it, so I can't check at the moment.  I did see a $10,000 contest flyer so I assume I could enter that or something.

The end game is coming.

whysoserious updated with links to every previous game from the year past, and a checklist. #13 refers to the Citizens for Batman meetup in New York & Chicago, which will offer streaming video during, well, whatever the hell goes down.

I'd like to see more movie posters like that.  Modern movie posters are boring.

There are a number of ways The Dark Knight is being marketed and produced that I would like to see other movies imitate.

... And for a reason:

Here, have another countdown, on the house.

The signal and every last Gotham website are now Jokerized.

The church one is somehow the cruelest, as it's lite on the puns, and heavy on the manic laughter. Joker must find religion to be the greatest joke of all.

EDIT: Each site had a puzzle piece attached. When arranged:

I had a thought the other day.

Why doesn't Bruce Wayne just buy all the shady, abandoned, and/or run-down amusement parks and  card/toy/novelty factories/stores in the greater Gotham metropolitan area?

I guess he could, but that would leave his other villains and their respective schticks. Also kinda' a big freakin' clue to his secret identity if he keeps it up. Plus the Joker can just improvise, or hole up in a chemical plant in a pinch.

Besides, do you have any idea how much rocket fuel for the Batmobile costs?! Sheesh...

SOLD OUT.

Moving on,

LOL BATPARTY

It's understandable how one could find Gotham Knight unsatisfactory, as watching it alone does not provide for the contemplative reflection The Animatrix achieved, and segments at times lacked impact. Watching it with a load of dranken batfans, however, is highly ideal. There are just enough pauses in between the dialogue to blather on with each other, the background artwork is practically unparalleled, and enough variations on Batman are presented to match anyone's tastes.

"Working Through Pain" was a personal treasure. The character designs in this segment went beyond the comics, allowing eyes to express emotion and reactions when dialogue balloons would have had to crowd out a comic panel otherwise. Switching between the two narratives was poignant enough (learning from the school of Begins), the bloodshed was surprisingly welcome, and the acting was at it's finest (read: most bearable).

Any punks just torrenting the segments are screwing themselves out of the BTAS episodes, Bob Kane documentary, Wonder Woman first-look, and Timm commentary found on the disc. Punks.

Deer Valley Imax?

I literally used to live nextdoor to that place.

...Oh well.  Quitting my job and moving back to Tempe was still totally worth it.

HD Dark Knight Prologue (.mp4)

Ripped from the Batman Begins Blu-Ray. The Dark Knight is slated for home video release on December 9th, and the Blu-Ray will maintain the IMAX aspect ratio.

:;-(: Hang on to your asses, ass holders.
