Why the LBP hate?
Own it for PSP; can borrow PS3 ver from friends.

Stardust is 10 on PSN. The other 2 are ~20, in case anyone is picking by price for some reason.

Oh look, a sudden flood of spam to the email account I had PSN linked to.  What a coincidence.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-05-31-lulzsec-were-hacking-sony-right-now

Quote
The group that claimed responsibility for last week's PBS website hack has claimed it is hacking Sony right now – and stealing "internal" information.

"Hey @Sony, you know we're making off with a bunch of your internal stuff right now and you haven't even noticed? Slow and steady, guys" reads a tweet published by the hackers this morning.

LulzSec, as the group is known, threatened Sony with what it describes as an "operation".

"This is the beginning of the end for Sony," it said on Twitter.

Then, "(Sony + Ownage) Phase 1 will begin within the next day. We may have a pre-game show for you folks though. Stay tuned."

LulzSec has already hacked the PBS website, posting a report that deceased rapper Tupac Shakur is "alive and well" in New Zealand, along with Biggie Smalls, aka The Notorious BIG.

It is also reportedly responsible for the hacks on Sony BMG's Japanese website.

Sony said this morning that it will fully restore PlayStation Network services by the end of the week.

Sony took PSN offline on 20th April following a hack that saw personal information tied to 77 million accounts compromised.

Sony is working with the FBI to track down those responsible.

Oh boy guys this is going to be exciting isn't it?

Going to be hard to collect those free games with the PSN store inaccessible.

So I guess it bugged out while I was trying to redeem for my free games, and now I don't get free games.

It crapped out on me halfway too and the option disappeared from the store, but I was able to re-download it by following this.

Quote
If you navigate away from the Welcome Back section of the store without choosing your free games or exit the store completely you may need to follow the below in order to choose and download your free games.
On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed
Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”
You will be taken to the store to choose your remaining free games.

Not sure what's worse: that this website exists or that the answer is "yes."

Latest PS3 system update has you sign away your right to join a class action lawsuit.

Quote
You can opt out of this by sending a letter to Sony, and if you go this route I would suggest you ask for signature upon delivery, track the letter, and keep records. All this will come in handy just in case Sony decides to claim the letter never arrived.

Anyone who wants the option to sue Sony should they, say, fuck up and expose all your data again, should really send that letter.

Wow I am surprised Sony will let you opt out at all, since the Supreme Court told everyone to go shove it when it comes to class action lawsuits.

Edit: Oh man those comments on that article are so cute.

It grants a veneer of legitimacy.  When someone inevitably challenges the validity of the EULA, Sony can point to it and say "Look, we gave you an opportunity to opt out."

Gamers Opt Out is a new website that will physically mail an opt-out letter for you.  So far it's sending them to Sony and EA, but I expect it'll expand as these damn waivers become more common.
