Because it's a typical wolfpire strategy? Joining in on a lynch when 30-50% of your team is present is just dumb. i.e. joining in on the Classic lynch.

Instead he votes for the lynch starter (Lyrai) to distance himself from it and then hopping on a later bandwagon on someone else. Someone who we know was also innocent, negating any possible secret knowledge on Kazz's part.

If I were to expand on this, I would also note a person usually distances themselves from their teammates. This could mean Lyrai is evil and would make the theory more plausible. However, there is no evidence of this at the moment.

Or it could mean Niku was evil, which would go a long way to explain why he has been voting for him, inexplicably, since the beginning of the game.

As an aside, Kazz was picked out of a bag of other suspicious quiet people (which includes me and basically half the player base). Kazz was chosen as his pattern was more unique than the people who just rarely spoke and/or rarely justified their votes.

We're in pretty much the same spot as we were yesterday, which means there's no real reason to switch my strategy from yesterday, which was to follow the first guy who sounded like he knew what he was talking about and then turn on him if his pick was clean.

But today that means following Transportation in the crusade against Kazz, and even being the new guy and not really knowing what I think I know about Kazz's reputation, that gives me pause. You can't use logic and deduction to uncover the bad guy whose main strategy is to remain unpredictable.

So I'm voting for Transportation, until he pipes up about who else is in this "bag of suspicious quiet people".

...but you just said you think Kazz is a bad guy.

For my part I can only say that he's definitely acting like one.

Did you miss the part where I said quiet people?

People who fit this criteria and require additional observation:
Quote
Niku
Kayma
Brentai
Kazz
Envy
Transportation
Romo

Alternatively: "basically everyone."

Which is what I said. Which is why I picked Kazz for acting "crazy" or having a distinctive pattern beyond being silent and just one word voting. Kazz stands out amongst everyone else with his behavior.

Just saying he's "unpredictable" is nonsense. Besides the Classic lynch, he joined on lynching DNi after being told to, along with everyone else. He went along with the Lady Duke lynch and then started the Day 2 SCD lynch. These, are in fact, perfectly sane actions. Now contrast them Day 2 (saying Classic lynch is starting to sound dumb) where some interesting things happened. That is the point I am trying to make here.

And why are the only active people including yourself on that list?

Well this has been super fucking helpful, thank you Transportation.

You wanna try that making your argument again in a less inane way before the pitchforks start descending on you?

What are you quoting?

An edited version of the living people list from the Day 4 post?

Because that list was for before this Day. And that's the group of people I selected Kazz from. Now a bunch of quiet people suddenly started posting while the previous ones are busy/clammed up. Today would change the list, but nothing drastic enough to change my vote.

I don't really know what you people are asking for, to be honest. If you're asking for people of interest, then Niku and Lyrai as they're tangled up along with Kazz in my argument. Everyone else is about as suspicious but they lack anything that distinguishes them from the others.

god damn it you people are boring and slow

since the wolfpires are all fucking losing anyway, here:

I'm the Seer

the following people were innocent when scried last:

Romosome (night 1)
Lyrai (night 2)
MarsDragon (night 3)

the rest of the world is starting wolfs.  the starting vamps are dead so i guess there are turns about and i don't spend all day re-scrying the same people.  although i guess i could if you want.

I can almost Guarantee Kazz is a vampire and is a turned seer if he is one.

So you only care about who is quiet in the past? Correct me if I'm wrong but don't we have vampires and shit running around turning people, which could cause voting patterns and level of participation to shift? To say nothing of just coming off the weekend. Hell, I myself haven't been in the same room as my computer since Thursday morning and I'm not on your quiet list at all. (Ten posts total! Woo!)

Does Kazz's claim that he's the Seer change your opinion at all?

Here's a fun question for you:  If Kazz is The Seer, why did he go and pointlessly out himself when there wasn't any momentum building against him?

You're all crazy, but Transportation seems crazier than Kazz, who just acts that way all the time. Kazz being Kazz doesn't rouse my suspicions that much. Transportation.

That said, I'm not sure if I believe he's the seer, and even if he is revealing himself now is kinda dumb. I guess we'll just have to see if he's torn open by the wolves tonight.

Whoa, things happened.

If voting for innocents alongside wolfpires is evidence for being a wolfpire, then this entire game would be impossible. Transportation is trying to use the lynch to get rid of someone he fears (rightly so if Kazz is telling the truth - and do note there's been no counter-claim), but he doesn't have enough evidence to back it up.

I repeat: Kazz should not be trusted.  If he feared Transportation, then outing himself is just going to get himself killed during the night or, worse turned to an evil side.  I repeat that he wasn't under attack and there was very little suspicion thrown his way.  He was in no fear of being lynched today, and only made his claim to help speed up the Transportation lynch.  The only reason he would even attempt this is if he knew he was safe, ie he's either a turned wolf or vampire.

Kazz is just sort of being a tool and I have no special evidence that proves he isn't a big stinky liar, unlike most of the rest of you.

Transportation hit 7 votes as of Bongo's post.

As he is led to the gallows, Transportation begins to mutter under his breath.

"What was that, I didn't quite catch it," you ask.

"I said," Transportation grumbles, "you're all a bunch of fools, and you're going to end up dead. I've seen it."

Suddenly, he digs in his heels, and you have to drag him to the rope.

"Zizu zizu, zizu zizu," you say.

"I want," Transportation says as his last words, "to be forgiven."

Click.

Drop.

Transportation was the Oracle.

Night roles.
