avast! reclassified a benign piece of JavaScript that was all over my commercial websites as a virus.

I don't think that was an April Fool's joke, but that's okay since I'm not laughing anyway.

I would totally buy the shit out of any console with wood panelling.

You would too, don't deny it.

The wood goes around the plastic.

Fuck, I might as well get some sheets of oak and paste them to my Wii.  Might fuck up my Wi-Fi a bit though.

...All the classic arcade games at the local Gameworks are wood-panelled.  Because apparently people born in the past 15 years think that's what arcade cabinets looked like in the 1980's.

I was born in the 1980s and I can tell you they were cheap plastic.

Maybe he just wanted them to look nice, even at the expense of authenticity?

The "dont joke about this shit" comment really hammers home that pokemon is considered a taboo topic of mirth. Akin to HIV or the (Real) Drug War(s)*.

*Not to be confused with the "War on Drugs".

Nnnnnnnot really, no.  It's referring to the fact that a lot of schools are offering courses, for credit, in a lot of really inane shit.  Like an entire course on Twin Peaks, or The Office, or knitting.

Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

Watermelon Games changes name to Banana Games, in single greatest example of why you should Google a phrase before naming your company after it.

edit: oh right. remembered date; nm. :whoops:

(Banana Games is the name of a futanari comic. Do not Google it at work. In fact, I wouldn't advise googling it from anywhere.)

I was just making a joke in poor taste, but...
TA...
Why is knitting "inane" or something that shouldn't be taught in higher education for credit?

Also, who is teaching a course about Twin Peaks? I'd be curious in seeing their syllabus.

I love knitting, but I don't think most handcrafts are worth a collage course for credit. History of knitting would fit into a course on fabric production, though.

(The real April Fool's joke is that they tricked me into adding "futanari" to my phone's dictionary.)
