I really do like his idea of the STAR star system or whatever it was called.  Cute idea.  Kazz thinks it's stupid as hell, but I think it's rather neat.

I never understood why that didn't catch on.  A valid excuse to be inherently lazy and reuse successful characters rather than creating endless expies of your previous casts, gaining an instant bonus from the fanbase's usually positive reaction to seeing familiar faces in alternate scenarios?  Why doesn't every manga-ka and animator do that?

I think it's just Star System.  It refers to Tezuka's explanation that his characters are "stars" (as in actors) portraying a role in each story.  Thus, why you see the same character over and over again in different works, even though there's no actual continuity between them.

Each of these characters are a fixed part of the "Tezuka Star System."  Get it?  Get it?

If you need a Western equivalent, think Looney Tunes.

(This means Arc's character is kind of the equivalent of Yosemite Sam.)

That's a pretty decent idea.

I really like the way my new avatar, with the green background setting, looks with the new WFE logo. Makes me think of Absinthe.

Something about that comic's style rubs me the wrong way, Brentai.  I just can't put my finger on it.  :sadpanda:

Also, I need some pants, guys.  These little white shorts aren't doing it.
