Goddamn this battle is complicated. I had to take a good hard look at the map to make sure I knew what was what, and we're running out of letters to mark who people are. I'm an a now! My long history of playing Nethack makes me think I'm a bug.

Anyway. Nice to see Wanda's pacifism is the "violence against constructed blasphemies against the gods and nature is okay" sort. Speaking of, if this is a construct, does my Dwarven craftsmanship point out anything that looks like an exploitable weak spot?

Wanda isn't a strict pacifist, she's a practical one!

Combat Analysis of the Scorpion doesn't produce anything practical. It has an identical make-up to the Warpwood Beetle, minus any sort of say, ladder on it's side.

Observing the commotion, Ragjen swiftly jumped down the lader, sliding quickly down it by just gripping omto the sides of it. Hitting the ground running, he mimicked the motion of raising his hat as he darted past Ottimus "Pardon~" He said in a singsong voice while laughing his ass off, running as fast as he could towards his wounded colleagues. (Double Move) "So nice seeing you dudes around here! I mean, covered in blood and everything but still!" The dragonborn laughed, the Rune of Mending shining on his shield, directing a beam of healing light at Ilex.

Karvan takes the attack from Ottimus with a grunt, he watches the fight unfold before him then reacts by moving in to attempt to intercept Kiplyn, he feints at the enemy in a [Footwork Lure] with his massive blackened flail but the fighter is so focused on his current target he does not take the bait. Karvan lets out a grim chuckle and [Combat Challenges] Kiplyn, growling out, "COME ON! HIT ME! I WANT YOU TO!" He gives a savage grin and lowers his guard enough to make an insulting motion at the enemy in front of him.

(Here's an idea: use the beetle to distract the scorpion. Get the tasty-smelling vial stuck on the scorpion somewhere, or even just spill its contents all over it.)

(Hrmm, whoops. I did Quint's turn out of order, so I'll have to give him a bye on this round... along with Morgana!)

Ilex, Meran, Gulden and Bertram are up until the end of Monday Night! Wanda, Beatrice, Bethany and Humphrey go for Helpful NPCs! Clarice, Ottimus, Kiplyn, Warpwood Scorpion, the Widows and Lily go as the Bad Guys!

Kahlua drops down and moves off to the other side, to cover the other approach. Isaac actually double-backs to ladder 3, what with the whole fragile damage dealer appearing next to Ottimus idea not seeming so hot.

Mystery Guy does something off-screen, not moving. The rest of the goon squad and Hugh charges off to the right-hand door, and Firebeard seems content to prepare something out of sight and step up to the edge of the water.

Gran vaults over the water and then charges in a slant around Ottimus, towards Ragjen. The massive Warforged arms rotate, shifting from humanoid arms to a might twin-bladed battle axe and a gargantuan tower shield, the axe falling upon Ragjen in a mighty attempt to cleave! Ragjen is clipped for a reduced 6 damage!

Ottimus: "Hah! You got lucky with pinching Clarice, but I think you're about to feel a pincer of my own!"

Ilex laughs as Kiplyn fumbles in. "Oi, Bertram, you're not gonna take that sitting down, are you?" (Inspiring Word, Heal and Bertram gains +2 to next attack and +5 to damage on that attack, but if he misses he grants CA Correction: you gain +2 attack and +5 damage on all attacks until the end of my next turn, and if you miss the next attack and only the next attack you grant CA until the end of my next turn)

Sidling up behind him, Ilex moves to strike the dog, but doesn't manage to trick the beast and wrap him in her chains. (Intuitive Strike, NAT 1, but hey I'm flanking for Bertram now. I'm negating his defense bonus, but not getting the +2 over that I wanted for you)

Ilex holds her head and attempts to cool herself. She needs to save her energy to strangle the real shithead here to death. (I'm not blowing my AP until we're up in Ottimus' grill, I want him deader than dead)

Ilex fumbles, but Bertram heals for 35 HP and gains a bonus on his next attack

(Karvan, I'd prefer you disengage Kiplyn and go for Gran. I'll leave it up to you though.)

Bertram turned to Kiplyn, his eyes seeming to glow with hatred. He brought his axe down hard (Rage Strike), and while his target was fast and wary, it wasn't enough. (1d20+21 = 29, just barely sufficient - 5d10+10+4+5 = 41 damage before damage reduction, which is to say 31 damage.)

Meran swiftly backs away from the approaching construct, firing off another Hand of Radiance toward it. Turning to see the main fight in progress, he sends two more radiant tendrils spiraling toward some of the goons surrounding Hugh.

Morgana, Ragjen, Karvan and Latir are up until the end of Tuesday Night! Kahlua and Isaac will go then, and then the rest of the Bad Guys!

Triggering it's mark, the Scorpion attacks Meran as though it had Threatening Reach against him, but misses. It's vicious stinger passes over his head, rustling his hair! It takes 15 Damage from all that nonsense Latir has upon it. Meran's mark drops.

Bethany attempts to make a simple leap from the railing to the prisoners but uhm, misses and lands in the water. She pulls herself out and sputters, shaking her wet hair... she produces an exemplary bit of thievery and springs one of the prisoners out of their shackles, the huge Goliath fella. Beatricer rushes the Scorp from behind and inflicts 11 damage upon it, Bloodying it. Humphrey sneaks along the far wall in a double move. Wanda moves forward and grants Karvan a Heal to put him back at full! Wanda then raises her mace and focuses... unleashing a blinding sheen of light upon Gran! It deals 8 damage and he is Blinded until end of her next turn!

Gran stammers: "Wh.. what is this that's come over me?!"

The Scorpion turns and bears down on Beatrice with a full assault of pincers and stinger! In a brutal display it critically seizes Beatrice's upper arms in both pincers and clamps down HARD, producing a scream of pain and 39 damage! The stinger whiffs, thankfully.. Beatrice is bloodied!

Shadows mass and swirl beneath Bertram and Karvan's feet. The widows move again.

With a smirk, Kiplyn turns upon Ilex and Karvan and unleashes a Paw of One Hundred Strikes! He inflicts 16 damage to Ilex and 13 damage to Karvan and shifts with the momentum! Stepping over Clarice in a second Shift to come before Bertram... he blows a minor to unleash THE FULL FORCE OF HIS FEY CORGI RACIAL! ... He pompfs forward, slams both paws into Bertram's torso and knocks him prone for 4 damage! ... and he absconds with Bertram's favorite ankle wraps, held in his mouth with a coy grin! Bark bark!

Ottimus turns slightly and frowns at Morgana, then thrusts his staff at her and unleashes the Abyssal Mark again! The water to the south churns as she is Marked... Ottimus steps up behind Gran and casts a cone of snotty green slime upon the lot of you, producing a sudden spread of difficult terrain!

13 Damage to Bert! 17 Damage to Ilex! 18 Damage to Karvan! All three are Slowed(Save Ends! Ilex is bloodied!

Warpwood Scorp makes a successful save against On Pain Of Death!

(Karvan punch that Corgi with your OA and deny his shift since he's shifting away under your challenge, so you can stop the movement if you hit, I don't want him flipping around.)

Ilex shouts at Karvan as she takes a face full of paw. "Don't just let this BUH, just beat the SHIT out of this dog!" (Immediate Reaction, Powerful Warning, Karvan dodges Kiplyn's Paw of 100 Strikes (+6 to defenses to that attack) and can make a Melee Basic Attack as a free action)

Basically go go go Karvan lock that dog down and hit him again so he can't get away and steal Bertram's shit.

Karvan hits Kiplyn hard as he tries to jump around, right in the back without care for 'combat honor'. He chuckles loudly as the dog stumbles and growls out, "Little puppy doesn't understand. Lizard's gonna eat his lungs." While using his flail's hooked head to grab Kiplyn and a quick [Footwork Lure] to draw himself and Kiplyn back towards Ottimus one square. Karvan marks Kiplyn until his next turn with [Combat Challenge] (Quick rules question, my feat Draconic Arrogance says it does my str bonus in damage when I Move or Knock Prone an enemy does that add to attacks that also move or prone people like Footwork lure? If so I do 5 more damage to Corgi Borgi)

Damages Before resistances 12 and 19 11 to Corgi after resistances.

Dohoho, the Warpwood Scorpion ignored my Divine Challenge twice? That's 10 damage the first time for Meran, and 16 the second for Beatrice! I've adjusted the Scorpion's HP here. Next time he ignores my challenge it'll be 22 damage!

"Gulden, take the beetle over to the prisoners. Free them any way you can, load them up, and get them out of here. We'll take care of Ottimus."

Latir hops off the Warpwood Beetle and takes a move action, scurrying around Quint and provoking an attack of opportunity from him if he feels like taking it.

Assuming he makes it to the space beside Beatrice safely, he swings his warhammer in a mighty Invigorating Smite against the Scorpion!
15 + 13 = 28 HIT
8 + 8 + 5 = 21 damage!
Any allies within 5 squares who are bloodied regain 8 HP!

Latir then uses a minor action to Lay On Hands on Beatrice, healing her for 26 HP! (If I understand this correctly, her surge value is 1/4 of her HP is 22, so she gets that back plus four for my Healing Hands feat.)

"Feeling better, lady?"

Should my healing abilities fail or get interrupted by something, or if Beatrice just gets belted again without getting shoved around or moving, I also have Shield the Fallen: allies are +2 to all defenses so long as they are both bloodied and adjacent to me.

(Malikial, I think you forgot either the OA you got from the shift or the Free MBA grant I gave you, not sure. Dicelog says Interrupt, which I assume is the Free Action MBA I granted you.
