A friend here just said that Obama is going to "remove the military from the equation, leaving us vulnerable to terrorist attacks."
What the hell does that mean?
(btw, permanent ban on discussing politics in the room. i want to like SOME people here.)
Republican logic would be that since Iraq is a front of the War on Terror, leaving in defeat would embolden the terrorists to attack the U.S.
Another somewhat rational possibility is Obama's lack of enthusiasm for ABM technologies. Democrats are also 'known' to cut military funding historically.
Or maybe it's that Obama's plan to use diplomacy instead of military posturing will destroy us all.
It could be any random talking point considering how vague it is.
