I thought stones were to assist the digestive process by doing the repetitive grinding that crocs didn't do with their teeth!

Also, I have some tremendous annoyance with Paul G. Hewitt.
Yeah we're here. Your "gang" is here, you goddamned hippie.

You could have dropped that tidbit without telling us you didn't understand the thread title. I love you Classic.

The fact that a physics textbook is illustrating your imminent demise by crocodiles is bad enough.

Well, decontextualized for me, anyway.  I've only just started reading syndicated comics, so forgive me if I can only come up with one conclusion as to what this strip is implying.

That kid's expression is waaaaaaaaaay too maliciously evil. I'd bet 100 bucks he rapes, kills, and then eats the baby.

(Order joke goes here)

Wouldn't you want to be killed then raped if both were inevitable?  :mystery:

I want to be killed, then eaten, then raped.

If I'm gonna go, let it be as quick as possible and cause my killer to subsequently implode.

That strip was from about twenty-five years ago. I'm sure Lynn Johnston is far too wholesome to put creepy undertones in her comics.

The original basis for the strip was some 25 years ago, but it's a 'new' strip. She apparently is doing ULTIMATE FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE with a rebooted continuity from the beginning. So I guess this time when the dog dies, it comes back as Carnage.

I was never really a fan of that strip, but anytime I hear anything about FBOFW from the last decade, I get this feeling... kind of like the feeling you might get if someone called to tell you a distant uncle you had vague but fond memories of has been arrested for child molestation.
