I am going to take the Red Key.

However, I am also embroiled in a contest to make a really good payload map for TF2. I might not have anything right away. I'm not gonna disappear on the project (please reference my monthly bumps of the last one) but I won't be quick either. If someone wants to take it before I get to it, no big deal.

Sorry about that! I've been busy with a few things, but I'd still love to help out.

I've been thinking about this, and I've decided that I'd be better off providing artwork than level content -- unless it's absolutely necessary that I help fill the game out with other things, of course. I'm positive I can create an amazing intro and ending, at the very least.

The intro segment I've made does not include a title card, so there's that.

HELLO BOYS AND GIRLS

WE'RE DESIGNING EXQUISITE KNORPSE!

I BET YOU THOUGHT WE WERE DONE WITH THIS GAME, DIDN'T YOU, DIDN'T YOU!?

WELP

I AM GOD OF FINISHING THIS SHIT THE FUCK UP.

YOUR FILTH DEFILES MY SANCTUARY.

SO DEVELOPMENT HELL KILLS INTEREST EH

I CAN GET BEHIND THAT

WHAT IS IT EXACTLY THAT WE'RE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH?

We're trying to get this shit released within six months by the end of the year.

If required, I will personally fill in the missing areas, making this roughly 75% Friday Knorpse.

However, I still need art.

I cannot finish this alone. (Trust me, at this point, if I could, I would have.)

So.

I'm gonna ask.

One.

More.

Time.

You want to contribute? You want your name to be recorded on the halls of legend in the end credits of ek3? Now is the time. Nothing will happen if nothing happens. I need about 10ish panels of art for my personal area. As of now, Lee-Ham is the only artist who has produced anything, and putting all the art workload entirely on him is unfair.

I've moved beyond wanting level designers! I'll take care of what's left my-fucking-self!

Artists!

AMERICA STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Friday is the hero we need.

I want to offer to help with art, but I've always been really bad at being motivated about that kind of stuff. :(

What do you need?

I can't say I'll do anything given my permanent sabbatical, but I'll at least ask for the info. I honestly have zero clue because I have never even so much as looked at the EK threads and have zero-point-zero clue about anything beyond "some of the people on this board make vidja games sometimes".

If it's pixellated game backgrounds (or pixellated art at all), that's going to be a non-starter... I've never done any of that stuff.

If it's anything like EK2, which it is, then we encourage a diversity of styles. The level designers give a brief description of the scene that's being shown, and the artist draws that scene however they want.
