...Moon.  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

It wouldn't have been as funny if I hadn't spent every Monday in November and December playing Majora's Mask on stream and being terrorized.

I was in the Navy.  But I dunno, I'm just sick of dealing with the army mentality.

Yep, still hating my job.

Hour commute one-way, arbitrary and flippant management, homophobia, sexism, racism, etc.

And I can't quit because I cannot find another job.

I think that, given all the Omega stuff we've seen over the past couple of years, Omega from The Three Doctors will come in to play at some point during Capaldi's run.

I totally wasn't ready to lose Matt Smith.

Kinda bummed that I missed it.  Oh well, Amazon had a digital copy of Day of the Doctor up pretty shortly afterward, so that's something to look forward to.

Where are we in the Shooting Cycle today?  Is it time for the left to propose more reasonable gun control legislation, or are we skipping that for the NRA to screech more righteous indignation?

I'm not saying both cases aren't total bullshit.  They're just bullshit from bulls that have been fed different things.

In that case, it would seem to be a case of neglect on the part of the officers in charge of the lockup.  Seems like apples to oranges to me.

So, Ethan Couch?  Kind of a...something.  I was going to say "tool", but perhaps that's too harsh.

Chalk it up to the really fucked judicial system in Texas.

Dude kills 4 people during DWI, at a .24 BAC, UNDERAGE, and gets sentenced to 10 years PROBATION.

Now, I am certainly not the "hanging judge" type, but come on.  The defense laid it's case on an assertion that Couch was affluent, and that he had been brought up in an environment that being white and privileged prevented consequences of our actions.

But Wall Street investors tanked the economy, and did any of them go to jail for it?

No error, working as intended.

Thanks.

Just saw the headline for this.  No context or anything like it, other than the headline.

"Is it always the economy, stupid?"

I chuckled.

I think the "Next time on Doctor Who" teaser for the episode in question consisted of that Billie Piper narration.  That might be why Davison was so concerned.

Seems like Thad's working on a Who blog post.

All really good points, Thad.

Just got back from the screening.  There was a cosplayer who was totally in character as Tom Baker.  Dude handed out Jelly Babies and was trying to Sonic Screwdriver his laptop in to picking up the local wi-fi.  I made sure to tell him to not pick the strange-looking one.

As for the screening itself, the biggest applause getter was
No, sir.  ALL THIRTEEN.
