So because Joel Salatin is crazy libertarian, I guess his farm isn't actually sustainable or environmentally friendly.  Ah well.  Luckily there are a few other examples off the top of my head.

Kate Bornstein wrote an interesting piece on her blog about WALL-E, specifically regarding the film's portrayal(or at least her interpretation) of butch/femme relationship roles, as they exist without gender. Makes me wonder how deeply the notion of "assigned robot gender" has been explored in sci-fi.
