Japan isn't quite small enough that you can get away with being that vague...
I mean, I'm guessing you're on Honshu and want to do all of your time wasting there, but...

Sorry. Tokyo.  Which itself is kinda vague given how goddamn huge Tokyo is.  But yeah, unless I'm mistaken, the trains are good enough that one can visit basically any one place on Honshu in a day, and I don't know non-standard dialects well enough* to want to stray very far.  So I'm probably just going to stay in Tokyo and maybe visit some touristy spots in Kyoto.

*or at all, they don't teach dialects, slang, profanity, or anything fun in formal classes.  They do however teach business-speak, which I'm sure is the first thing I'm going to forget... Scratch that, I'm pretty sure I've forgotten a good deal of it already, too many goddamn synonyms!

I'd say not to neglect Osaka, but I don't have any specific recommendations.

Venture Bros starts next week and I'm pretty sure Game of Thrones will have
the Red Wedding
, but I'm going to Italy that day and I won't be able to watch anything until I get back!

Apparently the internet is just off limits until I can get around to watching the new Arrested Development.

I got an iced cappucino to drink during today's meeting. Apparently "medium" is now "Big Gulp" size, so I have a stomachache not unlike a kid who's eaten way too much ice cream.

I had that happen to me once. It seemed like a problem with script or ad blocker?

I have a similar problem: I'll remove a video from my 'watch later' list, only to watch it immediately reappear. Like a trick candle, only with Dark Souls trolling instead of a flame.

I'm getting the same thing, actually.

Washed my motorcycle gloves. Gloves which do not in fact have any kind of no-wash warning and claim to be just fine for washing. They were getting gummy, what else was I supposed to do? Anyway, played it safe with gentle cycle, lukewarm water, air dry, etc.

Ruined 'em completely. The rain liner turned into inaccessible internal rubber cement. The same rain liner that's... supposed to get wet.

EDIT: Tore 'em open and realized that the liner hadn't melted at all, which makes sense given it was a low-temp wash. Problem was that it this liner was held together internally with scotch tape. This on a a pair of actual bike gloves from an actual major bike gear manufacturer.

My sex hormones are out of whack, or at least, cycling violently enough that I notice the changes in my personality and ability to access memory.

Speedtest.net is loading too slowly for me to run a speed test. Haha.

(The internet connection here has gone funny on us this morning.)

EDIT: Huh, it's showing all speeds normal? WTF?

It could be, but it's back to "not-noticing-it-normal" right now.
The problem is that if it happens again, the symptoms usually stop being personally obvious within 24 hours, so it'd be tough to see a physician in that time to check if my hormones are actually unusually high.

The worst thing that's happened (as far as I can tell) from one of these episodes has been
getting minor friction burns and bleeding on the glans from excessive masturbation
. But no one wants to read about the particulars of my genitals when I'm riled up.

ahem, yes.  Well, if your hormones are genuinely out of whack, that should show up in bloodwork even if you aren't running full bore.

So, you know, get tested.  Tell the doctor what's up.  Especially if this is an on-going, recurring issue.

I haven't noticed any particular pattern to it (which probably makes it more disturbing!) but yeah, I'm due for my annuals soon so the next time I notice I may as well go in.

Took one of those silly clinical tests to assess how prone to boredom I am.

Surprising no one, I'm off the fucking scale.

There's only one question, and it's "Are you taking this test of your own volition?"
