Teeth. There's nothing quite like sneaking up on a moose, clamping your jaws around its throat, and tearing it out. Gotta put those canines to use.

If you need to practice first, track down a seal or something.

Because first you need to kill a bear.

I was. But I also acknowledged that such a question was bound to get taken in silly directions with this crowd.

I agree with Joxam, but location and thickness of cover makes the difference!  Open areas make rifle a better choice for deer, while buck shot (a type of shotgun load) works better out here where the forests are thick!

Most firearms are a matter of position, hold, breathing and squeezing.  Once you got those four down and have considerable practice with your firearm of choice, the challenge will be the actual hunt, tracking or sniping whatever your preference :)

And here's an idea of the temptresses I have to deal with out here!

(I see lyrai is a big 2nd amendment fan, not that Arc didn't make that joke every week...)

Somebody got into our parking garage and rifled through a bunch of stuff, breaking into cars and the like. He rifled through my bike's luggage containers, going fishing through my toolkit.

This in and of itself isn't really strange or worrying. I expected something like that would happen eventually, be it in the garage or out on the street and while I have a bunch of stuff on my bike, none of it is irreplaceable or worth much (well, except the original factory toolkit, which has a couple of specialized tools... but that one's in a secret compartment in the tail-light housing).

I would only have been really pissed if he had stolen this one particular wrench I have that's of european make, is really useful, and either isn't made anymore or is very difficult to replace (it wasn't taken). But no, captain crackhead (or whoever), decided to ignore my valuable wrenches/tools, spare parts, and anything he could pawn, instead chooing to steal half* of an old screwdriver.

:???:

*It was a modular one. He took some of the parts... but not all of them. The weird part was that he would have had to take it apart to take only the parts he did.

Like I said, probably a crackhead. Or McGuyver. Mighta been McGuyver. On crack.

Yelp.com: Opt in? If you were concerned about privacy you would have opted out! Now would you like to see where your first girlfriend likes to get coffee every Tuesday?
Me: I don't think that's a good idea.
Yelp.com: Then maybe you would like to know about the gay bar your friend goes to?
Me: ...He's gay?
Yelp.com: Whoops! Foot-in-mouth syndrome, am I right? Well, to make it up to you, this is the place where that girl that broke your heart in high school will be at 2 AM next Friday night. Oh, and she'll be drunk.

AIM wants to be connected to Facebook now.  I guess as a transparently desperate shot at not seeming to be a program from the past that can still only barely transfer files.  I'm not nervous about security, but I don't want any of my internet stuff linked with any other internet stuff.  Being able to lie about when I'm available, pretend to have ceased to use an email account, and most of all avoid people altogether on a given service, is one of the best things about the internet.  I like the people I like and don't enjoy telling people I don't like that I don't like them, and Facebook slipping its Yivo-like tentacles into all my shit is going to force me to do that.

I'm not trying to be the smug "told you!" jackass, because I never have told anyone that they should not sign up for Facebook or whatever. But every day that goes by, I am happier and happier that I have never registered for any social network site.

I deactivated my Facebook account way back on "Yeah Let's All Do That Wait We Didn't" day, and I am constantly laughing at all those other guys.
