Starr finally got her work permit and I got approval on my sponsorship for her for permanent residence.

(This was all submitted over six months ago... it'll probably be another six before she gets her Permanent Resident status. These are the current normal processing times.).

Finally got a callback, for exactly the job I was hoping for. Next week is training which pays more per hour than any job I've had, then a guaranteed two month position, with chances for more.

Best part: not only is the pay awesome, but they pay $.50 on the mile for any travelling I have to do (including to and from the office).
