Do you understand how terrifying the words “vibrating strap on” are for an asexual? That’s like saying “the holocaust” to a Jew.

I think that's the first time in the series they've ever mentioned any Elder Scrolls.

For some reason I believe that to be a terribly bad sign.
Actually Morrowind is the only game that doesn't directly relate you to the elder scrolls because the Dunmer look to Almsivi as their religion, where as the scrolls are tied more directly to the Aedrea / Daedrea.

That's right, I read the lore.

Sega CD, even.

It's too bad that it meets one's expectations exactly, which is to say it looks almost exactly like an RPGMaker game.  Still, actually developing for dead systems is one form of retro I can get behind 100%.  Maybe this will convince Capcom to print actual cartridges of Mega Man 10/11, or something else suitably retardawesome.

PS3 is cracked as all get out.

They've also gotten the PSP master keys from this (and the more recent AACS keys may also be vulnerable)

Sony REALLY fucked up on this

Indeed.  Sony disables Linux option, citing piracy concerns; galvanizes hacker community to find a way to re-enable it, in the process finding a much, much more serious exploit than they ever would have simply running Linux on the damn thing.

Moral: don't give hackers a toy and then take it away, you dumb bastards.

Oh, and also, salt your fucking hashes.

I loved how every layer of security, when examined closely, wasn't one at all. Just a clumsy attempt at one. This would totally protect that layer of functionality if we told it to!

A new game was released for the Sega Genesis.

Two weeks ago.

There's a new commercial title for Commodore Amiga, from an Iraqi company who weren't able to release it in 1994 due to trade restrictions. They've also released it on iPhone, where it's sold over 400,000 copies.

The Japanese 3DS launch title list is up.

Guess I'd better acquire a taste for Professor Layton.

I got DCUO 'cause hey fuck it why not and it's pretty fun.  I'm not sure how much staying power it will have, but beating costumed goons into paste with a big fucking hammer and also occasionally exploding like a fuel-air bomb is enjoyable.

Gotham and Metropolis are pretty nicely realized, and there are random heroing's scattered about as well.  Every once in a while you'll happen across some mook causing a scene or attempting a robbery, so you just bash 'em in the head a bit and arrest them.  No big deal for a superhero.  Once I was flying about the upper levels of the skyscrapers and happened across a dude on a helipad.  Convinced him he could just buy a new horse, come on man don't be such a drama queen.

Last I heard there was a bug that erased your system32 folder when you uninstalled the game. That is usually a sign of quality right?

Huh.  What I'd heard was that there was no uninstaller, and uninstalling the game meant having to manually delete all the files and edit your registry.

Maybe they meant that you had to do that because if you ran the uninstaller, it'd wipe your system32.

That's... a very hard thing to do accidentally.  Are we sure we're talking about a "bug" here?

Intentionally putting it in a product is kind of a dumb thing, though.  I mean, it's not like we're talking about a bunch of comic book supervil-
