I was just thinking about how Saturn has been saying that he wants to get a new television for a good while now, and his last reason given was that wasn't sure which kinds had what level of image delay, or how hard it would be to fuck with that sort of thing.

So I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where those of us who know what to look for or know what is good in terms of whatever one might be shopping for might be could give those of us looking for things some advice.  Ask for advice on something you're looking into, or tell us all about something you know about.

So starting off, Saturn's looking for a new TV, and I know Smiler's Graphics card just died so I suppose that might be a thing to ask about too in this thread.

What books would you like to hypothetically ban?  If for nothing else, just to see people's reactions?

The bible.  Just the new testament, the old one's fine.

Reasons:  It's too fucking popular.
